D1ce (Korean : 디원스, stylized in all caps; pronounced as "The Once") was a South Korean boy band formed by D1ce Entertainment. The group consisted of five members: Jo Yong-geun, Kim Hyun-soo, Jung Yoo-jun, Park Woo-dam and Woo Jin-young. They debuted on August 1, 2019 with the EP Wake Up: Roll the World. The group disbanded on January 20, 2023 following their contract expiration. [1]
Jung Yoo-jun was a contestant in the Mnet survival series Boys24 in 2016, becoming a member of the survival pre-debut team Unit Blue. [2]
Park Woo-dam, Woo Jin-young, Jo Yong-geun participated in the Mnet survival series Produce 101 Season 2 in 2017 under Happy Face sub-label HF Music Company. Woo-dam, Jin-young and Yong-geun placed 35th, 40th and 93rd respectively. [3] [4]
Park Woo-dam, Woo Jin-young, Jo Yong-geun, Kim Hyun-soo and other Happy Face trainees participated in the JTBC survival series Mix Nine in September 2017. [5] Jin-young placed 1st, becoming a member of the winning group, however the group's debut was cancelled after unsuccessful contract negotiation between the show's agency and the winning contestants respective agencies. [6] Hyun-soo and Yong-geun placed 14th, 25th respectively.
All the members was previously introduced as a pre-debut team HNB (HappyFace Next Boys) and had released several songs as unit or duo since 2017.
In March 2019, Happy Face Entertainment confirmed the five members to debut in the group and set up their own-group label. [7] The name of the group was voted by fans, D1ce was the winning suggestion. [8]
On April 29, 2019, D1ce Entertainment confirmed Jin-young will be participating in Mnet rap competition series Show Me The Money 8 and then confirmed that D1ce plan to debut in the summer. [9]
The group's debut EP Wake Up: Roll the World was released on August 1, with "Wake Up" serving as its lead single. A debut showcase was held in the conjunction of the album's release at the SAC Art Hall. [10] [11]
The group released their second extended play Draw You: Remember Me on June 17, 2020, with "Draw You" serving as its lead single. [12]
On August 18, 2020, they released a collaboration single with Clef Crew titled "One Summer".
On November 30, 2020, they released the digital single "Good Day". [13]
On February 10, 2021, they released a new digital single "You're My Destiny". [14]
On May 6, 2021, Jo Yong-geun enlisted for his mandatory military service. [15]
On June 9, 2021, Woo Jin-young made his solo debut with his first extended play [3-2=A]. [16]
On September 27, 2021, Park Woo-dam enlisted for his mandatory military service. [17]
On March 18, 2022, members Kim Hyun-soo and Jung Yu-jun made the announcement through their official fan cafe that they will enlist in the military on March 21, 2022. [18]
On January 20, 2023, D1ce Entertainment announced that D1ce had disbanded following their contract expiration. [19]

Yang Dong-geun or YDG is a South Korean actor, rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, and breakdancer. Yang majored in Theatrical Performance at Yong-In University.

Loona is a South Korean eleven-member girl group formed by Blockberry Creative. Originally a twelve-member group, they were introduced to the public through a pre-debut project that began in October 2016, where each of the members was revealed in a periodic fashion by releasing a promotional single over the following 18 months. They debuted as a full ensemble with the extended play, [+ +] (2018), supported by the lead single "Favorite" and the title track "Hi High". On November 25, 2022, Chuu was removed from the lineup.
Produce 101 Season 2 was a 2017 boy group survival reality show on Mnet, and is the second season of the original South Korean version of the franchise. The public "produces" a boy group by choosing 11 members among 101 trainees from 54 entertainment companies through online voting and live voting with multiple elimination rounds. The public also chose the group's concept, debut song and group name. In the season finale on June 16, 2017, which was broadcast live, the show announced the final 11 members who would debut as Wanna One. More than 16 million people cast their votes during the finale, equivalent to around 30% of South Korea's population.
Lee Dae-hwi, better known mononymously as Daehwi, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, producer and television personality. He is a member of South Korean boy group AB6IX, and is known for his participation in the reality competition show Produce 101 Season 2, where he finished in third place overall and became a member of the boy group Wanna One. As the group promoted for a year and a half, it achieved both critical and commercial success with all four of its albums topping South Korea's Gaon Album Chart and all five of its lead singles ranking in the top three of South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. He released the song "Candle" with Park Woo-jin which reached number 60 on the Gaon Single Chart. In addition to singing and writing songs for various artists, he guest hosted and then became the permanent host for the long-time running variety show M Countdown.
Kim Dong-han, also known mononymously as Donghan, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. He first became known for competing in the reality survival show Produce 101 Season 2, and later debuted in the boy band JBJ. Kim made his solo debut with the release of his EP D-Day in June 2018. He is currently a member of South Korean boy band WEi.
Jeong Se-woon is a South Korean singer-songwriter signed under Starship Entertainment.
Jang Gyu-ri is a South Korean singer and actress. She finished ninth in Mnet's girl group survival show Idol School, becoming a member of the resulting girl group Fromis 9. Jang gained more recognition after starring in the television series It's Okay to Not Be Okay (2020). Jang left Fromis 9 and Pledis Entertainment after her contract with the company expired.
Yoo Seon-ho is a South Korean singer, actor and model. He is best known as a contestant on the survival reality show Produce 101 and drama Under the Queen's Umbrella. He is a cast member of the variety show 2 Days & 1 Night since 2022.
Kim Jong-hyeon, formerly known by his stage name JR, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. He is best known as the leader, main dancer and main rapper of South Korean boy group NU'EST. Following his contract expiration with Pledis Entertainment in 2022, Kim signed an exclusive contract as a soloist and actor under Evermore Entertainment, debuting with the release of his first extended play Meridiem on November 8, 2022.
Choi Ye-na, known mononymously as Yena, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is a former member of temporary girl group Iz*One after finishing fourth on Mnet's reality girl group survival show Produce 48. She is currently a soloist and actress under Yuehua Entertainment. Yena made her solo debut on January 17, 2022, with the release of her first EP Smiley.
Bae Jin-young is a South Korean singer and actor. He is a member of South Korean boy group CIX, and a former member of boy group Wanna One, after finishing tenth in the final rankings of Produce 101 season 2. Following Wanna One's disbandment, Bae Jinyoung debuted in CIX in July 2019.

Woo Jin-young is a South Korean singer and rapper. During his tenure as a trainee with Happy Face Entertainment, he was a contestant on the reality survival series Produce 101 and Mix Nine, where he competed to debut in an idol group. He found success in the latter and ranked number one in the competition, but the group never materialized due to failed contract negotiations between the show creator YG Entertainment and the artists' respective agencies.
