The DCG Brothers are an American hip hop duo based in Chicago, Illinois, USA. The group is made up of two brothers, known by their stage names DCG Shun and DCG BSavv. The initials "DCG" in their name is said to stand for "Dreams Conquer Goals". [1] [2]

In early 2021, the DCG Brothers released singles such as " Mmhmm" featuring instrumental production by Chicago producer Spvnkonnabeat, [3] as well as their collaboration "Rivals" with fellow Chicago artist Calboy. [4]
In June 2021, the duo signed a record deal with Atlantic Records and Chicago media company No More Heroes followed by the release of their debut single "House Party" on the Lyrical Lemonade YouTube channel. [5] Later in the year the duo went on to perform their single "Mmhmm" at Lollapalooza alongside fellow Chicago artist G Herbo. [6] [7]
Throughout 2022, the duo performed on tour alongside fellow Chicago artist and frequent collaborator G Herbo. [8] Later in the year they released their debut mixtape Jungle Life, which included features from several artists such as G Herbo, BIG 30 and B-Lovee.[ citation needed ] Near the end of December, the duo released their single "Bond Hold" featuring video production by No More Heroes. Polo Grounds Music is a hip hop and R&B record label, distributed by Sony Music's RCA Records. Founded in 2006 by Bryan Leach, Polo Grounds Music is a full-service entertainment company with a focus in publishing, management, marketing and promotions.
Sketch Show was a Japanese electronic music duo formed in 2002 by two of the three former members of Yellow Magic Orchestra, Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi. In some live shows, Ryuichi Sakamoto joined in band performances, which eventually led to the three readopting the YMO name in the latter half of the decade.
Drill is a subgenre of hip hop music that originated in Chicago in the early 2010s. It is sonically similar to the trap music subgenre and lyrically similar to the gangsta rap subgenre. Early drill artists are noted for their explicit, confrontational style of lyricism and association with crime in Chicago, especially the Black Disciples and Gangster Disciples. The genre progressed into the American mainstream in 2012 following the success of pioneering rappers like Chief Keef, Lil Reese, Lil Durk, Fredo Santana, G Herbo, Lil Bibby and King Louie, who had many local fans and a significant internet presence alongside producer Young Chop. Other rappers, such as Lil JoJo, FBG Duck, S. Dot, Edai, L'A Capone, RondoNumbaNine, SD and producer Leek-E-Leek also contributed to the early drill scene. Chief Keef, in particular, is considered the primary progenitor and popularizer of drill music, responsible for bringing it to the mainstream. The growing fanbase sparked major label interest, leading to deal negotiations and signings.
Herbert Randall Wright III, better known by his stage name G Herbo, is an American rapper. He signed with the Chicago-based record label Machine Entertainment Group in 2011, at the age of 16. His debut mixtape, Welcome to Fazoland (2014), was released by the label, along with its follow-ups Pistol P Project (2014), Ballin Like I'm Kobe (2015), and Strictly 4 My Fans (2016). His debut studio album, Humble Beast (2017), was released by Cinematic Music Group and met with critical acclaim. He signed onto a triple-joint venture with Epic Records to release his collaborative album with record producer Southside, Swervo (2018), which served his first release on a major label; its sequel, Still Swervin (2019), served as Wright's second album. His third album, PTSD (2020), peaked within the top ten of the Billboard 200, along with his fourth and fifth albums, 25 (2021) and Survivor's Remorse (2022); 25 was his first release with Republic Records.
Durk Devontay Banks, known professionally as Lil Durk, is an American rapper. Regarded as a pioneering artist in the Chicago-based hip hop subgenre drill music, he has been noted as one of the subgenre's most commericially successful rappers. He initially garnered local success with the release of his Signed to the Streets mixtape series (2013–2014), which led to him to sign with Def Jam Recordings. The label released his debut studio album, Remember My Name (2015), and its follow-up, Lil Durk 2X (2016), to moderate commercial reception before parting ways with the rapper in 2018.
Jarad Anthony Higgins, known professionally as Juice Wrld, was an American rapper and singer-songwriter. He emerged as a leading figure in the emo and SoundCloud rap genres, which garnered mainstream attention during the mid-to-late 2010s. His stage name, which he said represents "taking over the world", was derived from the crime thriller film Juice (1992).
Isaiah Rivera, known professionally as Wifisfuneral, is an American rapper from West Palm Beach, Florida. Best known for his association with fellow South Florida rapper XXXTentacion, he was chosen as part of XXL magazine's Annual Freshman Class in 2018. That same year, he signed with Interscope Records, although he released no major projects under the label. In early 2020, Wifisfuneral announced his retirement; however, this proved to be short-lived as he released his debut studio album, Pain? in August of that year.
Calvin Lashon Woods, better known by his stage name Calboy, is an American rapper from Calumet City, Illinois. He is best known for his 2018 single "Envy Me", which received quintuple platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. Its success led him to sign with Polo Grounds Music, an imprint of RCA Records, who issued the song as lead single for his debut extended play (EP), Wildboy (2019). The EP peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200, while his second, Love Live the Kings (2020), lukewarmly entered the chart.
Quantavious Tavario Thomas, known professionally as Young Nudy, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, he is known for his collaborations with his cousin and fellow rapper 21 Savage, as well as record producer Pi'erre Bourne. Thomas signed with RCA Records to release his debut studio album Anyways (2020), which was followed by Dr. Ev4l (2021), Rich Shooter (2021), EA Monster (2022), and Gumbo (2023). The latter spawned the single "Peaches and Eggplants", which peaked within the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100.
Taurus Tremani Bartlett, known professionally as Polo G, is an American rapper. He rose to prominence with his singles "Finer Things" and "Pop Out". His debut album Die a Legend (2019) peaked at number six on the US Billboard 200 and was certified double platinum by the RIAA, a feat matched by his two subsequent albums.
Cole Bennett is an American music video director and record executive. He is also the founder of Lyrical Lemonade.

Built for Whatever is the third studio album by American rapper Tee Grizzley. It was released through Atlantic Records and 300 Entertainment on May 7, 2021. The album features guest appearances from the late King Von, Quavo, Young Dolph, YNW Melly, Lil Durk, Lil Tjay, Grizzley's younger brother Baby Grizzley, G Herbo, Allstar Lee, Mu, and Big Sean. Production was handled by Chopsquad DJ, Hit-Boy, and Helluva.
"Who Want Smoke?" is a song by American rapper Nardo Wick. It was released through Flawless Entertainment and RCA Records as a single on January 22, 2021. The official remix, which features G Herbo, Lil Durk, and 21 Savage, was released on October 8, 2021. The original was certified platinum by the RIAA in November 2021. The song is included on Wick's debut album, Who Is Nardo Wick?, released on December 3, 2021.
Horace Bernard Walls III, known professionally as Nardo Wick, is an American rapper. He signed with RCA Records in 2021 and gained mainstream recognition following the commercial release of his single "Who Want Smoke?" in January of that year. The song spawned a remix featuring rappers G Herbo, Lil Durk, and 21 Savage, which peaked at number 17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His debut studio album, Who Is Nardo Wick? (2021) was released in December of that same year and peaked at number 17 on the Billboard 200.
Blu DeTiger is an American singer and bass guitarist based in New York City. She has released one EP, How Did We Get Here? (2021) and one studio album, All I Ever Want Is Everything (2024).
Kevin Perez, known professionally as Kay Flock, is an American rapper and songwriter. Hailing from the Bronx, he began his career in 2020 and rose to fame through a variety of singles, most notably "Shake It". He released his debut mixtape, The D.O.A. Tape, in 2021.
Qwayshawn Cannon, known professionally as B-Lovee, is an American rapper. Born in Queens, he began his music career in 2015, pausing it until 2020, when he released his debut EP, Courtlandtbaby. He went viral after releasing his singles "IYKYK" and "My Everything" in 2021, later appearing on songs with larger rappers such as G Herbo, A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Digga D in 2022.
James Edward Johnson IV, known professionally as BabyTron, is an American rapper and member of rap group ShittyBoyz. Born and raised in Metro Detroit, specifically Ypsilanti, Michigan, he rose to prominence following the release of his 2019 mixtape BIN Reaper, which included the song "Jesus Shuttleworth", which went viral.
Demauris Merchant Johnson, better known by his stage name Spenzo, is an American rapper from Chicago. Spenzo is best known from his single "Wife 'Er" and from his collaborations with artists such as Young Thug, G Herbo and King Louie.
