The character made her first appearance in Action Comics #252 and was created by Otto Binder and Al Plastino.
The Legion of Doom is a group of supervillains who originated in Challenge of the Superfriends, an animated series from Hanna-Barbera based on DC Comics' Justice League. The DC Comics Super Hero Collection was a fortnightly magazine collection, by Eaglemoss Publications, and DC Comics, launched on the 15 March 2008, in the United Kingdom. The series was inspired by the success of The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection, also published by Eaglemoss. Each issue featured a hand painted, lead figure of a character from DC comic books, as well as an informational magazine, about the character. The collection consisted of two regular issues a month, with a special issue released every two months, to accommodate the larger characters in the DC Universe. The series also spawned a sub-series called "The Blackest Night/Brightest Day" collection, featuring characters from the various lantern corps from the DC Universe.

Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League – Gotham City Breakout is a 2016 American computer-animated superhero comedy film based on the Lego and DC Comics brands, which was released on June 21, 2016 in Digital HD and on July 12, 2016 on Blu-ray and DVD. It is the sixth Lego DC Comics film following Lego Batman: The Movie – DC Super Heroes Unite, Lego DC Comics: Batman Be-Leaguered, Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League vs. Bizarro League, Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League – Attack of the Legion of Doom and Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League – Cosmic Clash. Some actors from various DC properties reprise their respective roles, including Nolan North as Superman, Grey DeLisle as Wonder Woman and Troy Baker as Batman. The film received positive reviews, with praise for the action, although the consumerism was criticized.

The film premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con International on 24 July 2016, and was released on Digital HD on 9 August and on DVD on 23 August. It is the first film in the DC Super Hero Girls franchise.
DC Super Hero Girls: Super Hero High is a 2016 American animated superhero television film based on the DC Super Hero Girls franchise. Albeit explaining the origins of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El and Batgirl/Barbara Gordon and taking place after the first season, it was created to promote the new DC Super Hero Girls franchise. The film aired on Boomerang on March 19, 2016 in the United States as well as on Boomerang UK on May 21, in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Also, Cartoon Network aired this show again on April 30 and June 5 the same year in the US and has subsequently made it available on its website.

It was digitally released on May 1, 2018, and was followed by a DVD release on May 15.

Home Entertainment. It is the fifth and final film in the DC Super Hero Girls franchise before it got rebooted by Lauren Faust, and it takes place in the Season 4 timeframe. It premiered at the San Diego Comic-Con International on July 22, 2018 and was released digitally and on DVD on October 2.

The theme was first introduced in November 2016. The toy line was accompanied by several shorts, a television special and films based on Lego DC Super Hero Girls. The Lego DC Super Hero Girls theme was discontinued by the end of 2018.
Teen Titans Go! & DC Super Hero Girls: Mayhem in the Multiverse is a 2022 direct-to-video animated superhero comedy film and a crossover between the television series Teen Titans Go! and DC Super Hero Girls, which is adapted from the DC Comics superhero team of the same name, and the DC Super Hero Girls franchise. It is the first DC Super Hero Girls film in four years since 2018's DC Super Hero Girls: Legends of Atlantis, and the first one to center on the 2019 incarnation. It was released on DVD and Blu-ray on May 24, 2022, followed by a premiere on Cartoon Network on May 28. The film also served as the fourth Teen Titans Go! film, following Teen Titans Go! To the Movies, Teen Titans Go! vs. Teen Titans, and Teen Titans Go! See Space Jam, and also served as the series finale of the DC Super Hero Girls TV series.
