DNK is the fourth studio album from French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura. It was released on 27 January 2023 through Warner Music France. [3]

Contents

The album features guest appearances by SDM, Tiakola, Myke Towers and Kim. [4] [5] It was preceded by the single "SMS", which reached the top 20 in Nakamura's home country France, at number 16 then by "Baby", which reached the top 3 in Nakamura's home country France, at number 2, in Wallonia at number 27 and in Switzerland in 32.

Promotion

Nakamura announced her album through a YouTube livestream on 6 January 2023. She also announced the presale buying methods for her concert at the Accor Arena on 26 May 2023, which sold out almost immediately. [6] [7]

Aya Coco Danioko, known professionally as Aya Nakamura, is a French-Malian singer-songwriter. She began publishing her music online, gaining a following with the songs "Karma" and "J'ai mal". Dembo Camara, a longtime friend, became her producer and manager. Her song "Brisé" garnered traction on YouTube, and a duet with rapper Fababy, "Love d'un voyou", resulted in her charting in France for the first time. She released her debut album, Journal intime, in 2017, followed in 2018 by Nakamura, which was certified diamond in France and has sold more than 1.2 million copies worldwide. The album spawned the hit singles "Djadja" and "Copines" and launched the singer's international career.
