The Country Liberal Party (CLP),officially the Country Liberals,is a liberal conservative political party in Australia founded in 1974,which operates solely in the Northern Territory,however due to Christmas Island and the Cocos (Keeling) Islands forming part of the Division of Lingiari they also vote for the Country Liberal Party.

Stuart was an electoral division of the Legislative Assembly in Australia's Northern Territory. Named after Scottish explorer John McDouall Stuart,it was initially created in 1947 as one of the five inaugural electoral divisions of the Northern Territory Legislative Council. It was an almost entirely rural electorate encompassing much of the western Territory,covering 383,859 km²and taking in the towns of Dagaragu,Lajamanu,Willowra,Yuendumu,and part of the north-eastern side of Alice Springs. There were 5,242 people enrolled in the electorate as of August 2016.
A general election was held in the Northern Territory,Australia,on 18 June 2005. The centre-left Labor Party,led by Chief Minister Clare Martin,won a second term with a landslide victory,winning six of the ten seats held by the opposition Country Liberal Party in the 25-member Northern Territory Legislative Assembly,bringing their total to 19. It was the second largest victory in any Northern Territory election. The only larger majority in the history of the Territory was in the first election,in 1974. In that contest,the CLP won 17 of the 19 seats in the chamber,and faced only two independents as opposition.
Loraine Margaret Braham is an Australian politician. She was a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 1994 to 2008,representing the electorate of Braitling. She was initially elected as a representative of the Country Liberal Party,serving in that role from 1994 until 2001,but retained her seat as an independent after being disendorsed before the 2001 election. She was the Speaker of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly from 1997 to 1999 and again from 2001 to 2005. Braham also served as a minister in the Stone government from 1999 to 2000.
Braitling is an electoral division of the Legislative Assembly in Australia's Northern Territory. It was created in 1983,when the electorate of Alice Springs was abolished as part of an enlargement of the Assembly. Braitling is an almost entirely urban electorate,covering 9 km²in north-western Alice Springs. The electorate takes its name from the Braitling family,an early pioneering family in the district. There were 5,830 people enrolled in the electorate as of August 2020.
A general election was held in the Northern Territory,Australia,on 18 August 2001. The centre-left Labor Party (ALP),led by Clare Martin,won a surprising victory over the Country Liberal Party (CLP). Before this,the CLP had held 18 out the 25 seats in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly to the ALP's 7. After this election,the ALP held the majority with 13 seats to the CLP's 10,consigning the CLP to opposition for the first time since the Territory gained responsible government. He served as Minister for Primary Industry and Fisheries,Minister for Land Resource Management and Minister for Essential Services (2012–2016),Minister for Mines and Energy (2012–2015) and Minister for Public Employment (2015–2016) under both Terry Mills and Giles.

Robyn Jane Lambley is an Australian politician. She is an independent member representing the division of Araluen in the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly,having been first elected in a 2010 by-election as a member of the Country Liberal Party. She resigned from the party and contested Araluen as an independent in 2016. She was a member of the Territory Alliance between March and October 2020.
Lia Emele Finocchiaro is an Australian politician. She has been a Country Liberal Party member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly for the seat of Spillett since her election in 2016. She became Leader of the Opposition in the Northern Territory after the resignation of Gary Higgins on 1 February 2020. She was previously the member for Drysdale from 2012 to 2016.
