Dallas Alonzo Comegys (born August 17, 1964) is an American former professional basketball player.
Comegys played collegiate basketball for the DePaul Blue Demons in the NCAA Division I from 1983 to 1987.
Comegys was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 21st overall pick of the 1987 NBA draft. He was traded to the New Jersey Nets in exchange for a second-round draft choice in either 1989 or 1990. [1] He played 75 games (17 starts) for the Nets in 1987–88, averaging 5.6 ppg, adding totals of 218 rebounds and 70 blocks.
Comegys was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for Walter Berry in August 1988. [2] With the Spurs, he played 67 games (10 starts), with 6.5 points and 3.5 rebounds on average in 1988–89
He then moved to Europe, playing a good part of his career in Italy, mostly in the second division Serie A2, with some spells in the top tier Serie A. There he played for Banco di Sardegna Sassari, Fortitudo Bologna, Comerson Siena – with whom he led the Serie A in rebounding in 1995 – and SNAI Montecatini.
Comegys also played in the Spanish Liga ACB for Oximesa Granada, his first experience abroad, in the Turkish Basketball League for Fenerbahçe and Pınar Karşıyaka. During his time at Fenerbahçe he was shot after leaving a nightclub. [3] He later played in the Israeli Basketball Super League for Maccabi Tel Aviv and for various U.S. minor league teams.
Walter Berry is an American former professional basketball player. After spending three seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA), he had a very successful career in various leagues around Europe and the EuroLeague. Berry played the power forward position. Berry, who originated from New York City, New York, was nicknamed "The Truth", early in his playing career. He was inducted into the Greek Basket League Hall of Fame in 2022.

The 1988–89 New Jersey Nets season was the Nets' 13th season in the NBA. The Nets had the fourth overall pick in the 1988 NBA draft, and selected Chris Morris from the University of Auburn. During the off-season, the Nets acquired Walter Berry from the San Antonio Spurs, and acquired Mike McGee from the Sacramento Kings. Before the start of the season, the team acquired Joe Barry Carroll and Lester Conner from the Houston Rockets. However, Berry was later on released to free agency after 29 games with the Nets, and signed with the Rockets midway through the season. The Nets held an 18–29 record at the All-Star break, but struggled for the remainder of the season, posting an 8–27 record, and finishing fifth in the Atlantic Division with a 26–56 record.

DeShane Davis Larkin is an American-Turkish professional basketball player and the team captain for Anadolu Efes of the Turkish Basketball Super League and the EuroLeague. He also represented the senior Turkish national team in international competition. He played college basketball for the University of Miami. He was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 18th overall pick in the 2013 NBA draft, where he was immediately traded to the Dallas Mavericks. He last played in the NBA in 2018 with the Boston Celtics. Larkin is the son of Hall of Fame baseball player Barry Larkin.
