Damage Theory is the third album by Russian cyber metal band Illidiance, released in 2010. Recording for the album commenced in December 2009, [1] with drums recorded in February 2010. [2] Of the 11 tracks in the album, four of them were re-recorded from the Synthetic Breed EP released the previous year. [3]

The album features a guitar solo by Mick Priestley (The Green River Project), as well as guest vocal contributions by Tony JJ (ex-Mnemic / IconInMe) Scott Kennedy (Bleed from Within), Kenji Siratori, and Vasiliy "Ghost" (Akado). Hate vocalist Adam Buszko was also invited to do guest vocals but unable to contribute due to time constraints. [4]

The band toured in support of the album in Russia and Ukraine in February 2011. [5] "Fading Away" was released as a single on February 1, 2011. [6] A new single, "Neuron Electrics Inc." was released on September 26, 2011. [7] That track and "Neon Rebels" were included as bonus tracks in a reissue for Damage Theory, released via Right Recordings in 2012. [8]
