Damian Robert Chapa (born October 29, 1963) is an American actor, [1] film director, screenwriter, and producer. [2]
Chapa's ancestry is Mexican, Italian, German and Native American. He lives in San Antonio, Texas. [3]
Chapa played the part of evangelist Leroy Jenkins in the 2002 film The Calling. [4] He played Miklo Velka in Taylor Hackford's Blood In Blood Out . [5] He appeared as Ken Masters in Raúl Juliá's final film Street Fighter , based on the video game Street Fighter II: The World Warrior . [6]
In 2011 Chapa was arrested in Madrid and later transferred to a Munich jail to await a court appearance on a charge of the alleged rape of former girlfriend Roxanna Foell. He was released after seven weeks [7] Chapa filed a $1.3 million lawsuit for damages against Foell, [8] and the case was later disposed by judge Malcolm Mackey. [9]

Street Fighter is a 1994 action film written and directed by Steven E. de Souza, based on the video game series of the same name produced by Capcom. It was one of two films released in 1994 specifically adapting Street Fighter II, following Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie. Distributed by Universal Pictures in the United States and Columbia TriStar Film Distributors International internationally, the film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Raul Julia along with supporting performances by Byron Mann, Damian Chapa, Kylie Minogue, Ming-Na Wen and Wes Studi. The adaptation focuses on the efforts by Colonel Guile to bring down General M. Blood In Blood Out is a 1993 American epic crime drama film directed by Taylor Hackford that has become a cult classic film among the Mexican-American community. It follows the intertwining lives of three Chicano relatives from 1972 to 1984. They start out as members of a street gang in East Los Angeles, and as dramatic incidents occur, their lives and friendships are forever changed. Blood In Blood Out was filmed in 1991 throughout Los Angeles and inside California's San Quentin State Prison.
