The next year, Jackson played in his first and only game of the season. Jackson played in two games as a sophomore and was a finalist for the Armed Forces Award. In the shortened 2020 season, Jackson earned a scholarship and played in the last six games of the season. In his senior year, Jackson played in eleven games of the season and received the Armed Forces Merit Award. [6] For his extra season given by the NCAA to all players who played in the shortened 2020 season, Jackson chose to transfer to and play football at the University at Buffalo. [7] [8] [9] During his lone season at Buffalo, Jackson played in thirteen games and started nine as a defensive end. [10]
