Dan Glading (born December 17, 1986 in Bethesda, Maryland) [1] is a lacrosse player, nicknamed Danny Glading who played at the University of Virginia and currently plays in Major League Lacrosse for the Chesapeake Bayhawks.

Danny Glading played in high school for Georgetown Prep, a school regularly nationally ranked in lacrosse. Glading played attack for the Virginia Cavaliers from 2006 to 2009, leading the team to an NCAA Championship in 2006. He was named an All-American three times by the USILA and was a finalist for the 2009 Tewaaraton Trophy, [2] [3] given annually to the nation's best lacrosse player. Glading finished his career ranked in Virginia's top ten in goals (seventh), assists (tied for fifth), and points (tied for fifth). [4] His career totals of 119 goals and 104 assists make him only the sixth player in Atlantic Coast Conference history to reach 100 goals and 100 assists in a career.

The Washington Bayhawks selected Glading with the fifth overall pick of the 2009 Major League Lacrosse draft. [5]

Matt Danowski

Matt Danowski is a former professional lacrosse Attackman who played in Major League Lacrosse (MLL) and the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) for 12 seasons. He finished his career with the Chrome Lacrosse Club, announcing his retirement on February 22, 2021. He previously played for the Chesapeake Bayhawks, Charlotte Hounds, New York Lizards, and the New Jersey Pride. Danowski also spent four seasons playing professional indoor lacrosse in the National Lacrosse League for the Colorado Mammoth, Rochester Knighthawks and Philadelphia Wings. He was a four-time college All-American at Duke University, won the Tewaaraton Trophy in 2007, and was the NCAA Division I all-time leading scorer at the time of his graduation with 353 points. He is now fifth all-time on that list behind Lyle Thompson (400), Pat Spencer (380), Connor Fields (364), and Rob Pannell (354).

Ben Rubeor is the current Head Coach for Atlas Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League. Rubeor previously played for the Chesapeake Bayhawks & Long Island Lizards in Major League Lacrosse. The 2009 NCAA Division I Men's Lacrosse Tournament was held from May 9 through May 25, 2009. This was the 39th annual Division I NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championship tournament. The Virginia Cavaliers men's lacrosse team represents the University of Virginia in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's lacrosse. The Cavaliers compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and plays home games at Klöckner Stadium, or occasionally Turf Field or Scott Stadium, in Charlottesville, Virginia. The team is coached by Lars Tiffany, who led the team to winning the 2019 NCAA Lacrosse Championship.

Lyle Thompson is an Iroquois professional lacrosse player for the Cannons Lacrosse Club of the Premier Lacrosse League and the Georgia Swarm of the National Lacrosse League. He holds the record for the most career points in Division I with 400 and the second most career assists with 225. He shared the 2014 Tewaaraton Trophy with his brother Miles while winning the award again in 2015 and won the Turnbull Award for the top collegiate attackman twice.
