Dan Zimmerman is an American film editor. [1] He is the son of editor Don Zimmerman. He is also the twin brother of Dean Zimmerman. [2]

After glimpses into editorial jobs with his father on films like The Nutty Professor (1996) and The Cat in the Hat (2003), Zimmerman graduated to chief editor with the 2006 film The Omen .

He was nominated twice for the Academy Award for Best Film Editing, and was elected as a member of the American Cinema Editors. The Fugitive (1993) was listed as the 39th best-edited film of all time in a 2012 survey of members of the Motion Picture Editors Guild. Virkler died from heart failure on September 15, 2022. He was 80.

He and Baxter were nominated the Academy Award for Best Film Editing, the BAFTA Award for Best Editing, and the American Cinema Editors Eddie Award for the 2008 film The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, also directed by David Fincher. George Michael Zimmerman is an American man who fatally shot Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African-American teenager, in Sanford, Florida, on February 26, 2012. On July 13, 2013, he was acquitted of second-degree murder in Florida v. George Zimmerman. After his acquittal, Zimmerman was the target of a shooting. The perpetrator was convicted of attempted murder.

John M. Gilroy is an American film editor whose work includes Michael Clayton, The Bourne Legacy, Warrior, Pacific Rim, Nightcrawler and Suicide Squad.

SoundStorm was an independent audio post-production and sound editorial company based in Burbank, California. It provided post-production sound design, sound editing and ADR in Hollywood. The editors recorded their sound effect library from 1984 to 2004, worked on more than eighty feature films, and earned a number of awards and nominations from the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, British Academy Film Awards and Golden Reel Awards.
