Dana Marie is a Christian recording artist from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Marie released her first album in 2010.
Dana Marie was involved in various choirs, solos, and school musicals throughout high school. After graduating from Woodland Christian High School, [1] she moved to Sydney, Australia where she attended the Hillsong International Leadership College. She moved back to Canada after receiving her Diploma of Ministry from Hillsong.
After releasing her first self-titled, full-length album in December 2010, Marie has performed and led worship at events such as the 100 Huntley Street, [2] [3] [4] Kingdom Bound, [5] and the Grand Valley Institution for Women. [6]
Marie has two singles dedicated to Compassion Canada, [7] "More Loved" and "One Act", and is currently working with Compassion Canada on her second album. [8] She has also recorded Girl Power to Cure for Rett syndrome. [9]
Other musicians performing with Marie include her brother Fraiser Hoekstra (drummer), and Nick Bronsema (acoustic guitarist) who both joined her in 2010. Kenny Butcher (bassist) and David Faris (electric guitarist) joined the band in 2011 and 2012 respectively.
Marie won the 2010 Shining Star vocal competition for Christian radio station 94.3 Faith FM, judged in part by Jaci Velasquez. In 2011, Marie was nominated for "Modern Rock/Alternative Album of the Year" at the Gospel Music Association of Canada's Covenant Awards. In 2012, Marie won "Collaborative Song of the Year" for "Join Together" with Scott Towaij, Amy Savin, Ali Matthews, Sean Dayton, Chris Bray and Colin Bernard. [10]
Darlene Joyce Zschech is an Australian Pentecostal Christian worship leader and singer-songwriter who primarily writes praise and worship songs. Described as a pioneer of the modern worship movement, she is the former worship pastor of Hillsong Church. Zschech is currently a contributing songwriter with CompassionArt, a charity founded by Christian songwriter Martin Smith. Along with her husband, Zschech is the lead pastor of Hope Unlimited Church in New South Wales.
Brooke Gabrielle Ligertwood, professionally known as Brooke Fraser, is a New Zealand singer and songwriter. After signing with Sony BMG in 2002, she gained recognition for her debut album, What to Do with Daylight (2003) and followed with Albertine (2006) and Flags (2010). All three debuted at number one on the RMNZ chart and gained her the number one single "Something in the Water". She later released Brutal Romantic (2014), various compilation albums, the live album Seven (2022) and Eight (2023). The latter two were released by Capitol CMG under her married name, Brooke Ligertwood.

It was recorded at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in Australia by Reuben Morgan, Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong Worship Team on 7 November 2010. The songwriters include Reuben Morgan, Ben Fielding and Dylan Thomas, Darlene Zschech, Joel Houston, Harrison Wood, Jill McCloghry, Sam Knock, Joel Davies, Jason Ingram and Chris Tomlin. God Is Able debuted at number three on the ARIA Albums Chart. It was nominated at the 43rd GMA Dove Awards for Inspirational Album of the Year. The DVD was recognized at the 2012 ARIA No.1 Chart Awards for spending one week at number one on the Australian chart.
The City Harmonic was a Canadian Christian rock band based in Hamilton, Ontario. Elias Dummer, Eric Fusilier (bass), Aaron Powell (guitar), and Josh Vanderlaan (drums) collectively made up The City Harmonic. Their music has been described as "nostalgic Brit-pop meets campfire sing-along mix that features raucous gang vocals along with agile, soaring anthems crafted to include the listener". Musically, their sound is often compared to artists like Coldplay, Keane, Aqualung, the Fray, or Arcade Fire. In 2011 they won three Covenant Awards from GMA Canada for New Artist of the Year, Recorded Song of the Year and Modern Worship Song of the Year. In 2013 they won Covenant Awards for Group of the Year and Praise and Worship Song of the Year. They also won a Juno Award for the 2013 Christian/Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year. After announcing that they would retire, the band recorded their final show, which was released as a live album, Benediction (Live), on June 23, 2017.
Zion is the third studio album by Australian contemporary worship music band Hillsong United. It was released on 22 February 2013 for Australia, and was released by 26 February 2013 internationally, under Hillsong Music and Sparrow Records. Production for the album began in March 2011 in Sydney, Australia. Michael Guy Chislett and band member Joel Houston oversaw production of the album, with the latter serving as executive producer.

Hillsong Young & Free is an Australian contemporary worship music group from Sydney, Australia, where they started making Christian music in 2012 at Hillsong Church. They have released four live albums: We Are Young & Free (2013), Youth Revival (2016), III Live (2018), and All of My Best Friends (2020); they have also released four studio albums: Youth Revival Acoustic (2017), III (2018), III (2019), and III (Reimagined) (2019). Additionally, the group have released three EPs: This Is Living (2015), We Are Young & Free - EP (2015), and Out Here on a Friday Where It Began (2021).
Youth Revival is the second live album from Hillsong Young & Free. It was recorded live at Hillsong City Campus in Waterloo, Sydney on November 13, 2015. Sparrow Records alongside Hillsong Music Australia released the album on 26 February 2016. On 2 November 2016, along with their campaign "An Act of Real Love", the official music video of "Real Love" was released. It received a nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards.
