D-trix Presents Dance Showdown (formerly known as Dance Showdown Presented by D-trix) was a dance competition web-series created by DanceOn, a YouTube-funded channel created by Amanda Taylor. [1] [2] DanceOn broadcasts the series on YouTube. The series premiered on April 5, 2012.

The first season premiered on April 5, 2012 and for ten episodes until May 31, 2012. For the first season the series was named Dance Showdown Presented by D-trix. Dominic Sandoval, better known as D-trix was the host of the first season. [3] [4] The winner, WoodysGamertag was awarded $25,000. [5] [6]

Season 2

The second season premiered on October 5, 2012. The judges featured for the second season included Joey Fatone, [7] Ryan Higa, Shane Dawson, Dave Days, Laurieann Gibson. [8] [9] Dominic Sandoval returned as the host of the series for the second season. The winner, Jesse Wellens from PrankvsPrank, was awarded $100,000 after winning the Viewer's Vote and the Judge's Pick.

Season 3

On October 21, 2013, a teaser for the third season was released. [10] Fatone and Gibson returned as judges, but KassemG was presented as a new third judge. [11] DanceOn partnered with Coca-Cola and the (RED) Campaign, to create a special episode of Dance Showdown. [12] The winner, Egoraptor, was awarded $50,000 after winning the Viewer's Vote and the Judge's Pick.

Season 4

On September 17, 2015, a teaser trailer for Season 4 was released. [14] Season 4 was won by Vine sensation, Gabbie Hanna and her partner Matt Steffanina. The final episode of Dance Showdown was published on December 22, 2015. [15]

So You Think You Can Dance (SYTYCD) is an American reality television dance competition show that aired on Fox in the United States and is the flagship series of the international So You Think You Can Dance television franchise. It was created by American Idol producers Simon Fuller and Nigel Lythgoe and is produced by 19 Entertainment and Dick Clark Productions The series premiered on July 20, 2005, with over ten million viewers and ended the summer season as the top-rated show on television. So You Think You Can Dance is a United States television reality program and dance competition airing on the Fox Broadcasting Company network. Season seven premiered on May 27, 2010. In the August 12 finale, contemporary/jazz dancer Lauren Froderman was named "America's Favorite Dancer" and received the grand prize of $250,000, as well as an appearance on the cover of Dance Spirit magazine and in print advertising for Gatorade. I.aM.mE is an American hip-hop dance crew from Houston, Texas. The group rose to prominence after being crowned champions in the sixth season of America's Best Dance Crew. The three founding members, Phillip Chbeeb, Di Moon Zhang and Brandon Harrell, formed I.aM.mE after Marvelous Motion Crew disbanded. Three additional members, Chachi Gonzales, Emilio Dosal, and Džajna "jaja" Vaňková, joined later after an audition.

<i>Internet Icon</i> TV series or program

Internet Icon is an online video-making talent competition that premiered on the YOMYOMF YouTube channel on June 12, 2012. The show was a competition between groups to see who can be "the next internet icon" or be able to run their own YouTube channel while sustaining an audience. Internet Icon was hosted by Chester See in season one and Chris Riedell in season two, and judged mainly by Ryan Higa and Christine Lakin in season one, with the addition of Timothy DeLaGhetto in the second season. Nick Riedell was also included as a mentor of the contestants in the second season. Additionally, there is also a guest judge who appears on the show each elimination episode. The contestants complete challenges at the Los Angeles Center Studios, where the show is also shot. The series is one of YOMYOMF's most popular. After two seasons, Internet Icon was cancelled, due to funding issues.

He was a contestant on the tenth season of So You Think You Can Dance and is currently a professional dancer and choreographer on Dancing with the Stars. He is the winner of season 28 of Dancing with the Stars with his celebrity partner, The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown.

Dance USA Dance, also known as DUD, is an international dance competition reality TV show that airs on Zee TV USA. It is created and produced by 5678 Media Group. In this dance competition, the teams are challenged to perform different styles of dance to South Asian or Bollywood music. The various dance forms featured are freestyle, hip-hop, Bollywood fusion, jazz, salsa, breaking, popping & locking, Bharatanatyam and Kathak.

So You Think You Can Dance is an American dance competition reality show, which returned for its seventeenth season on May 18, 2022.
