Dane Fischer (born September 21, 1979) is an American basketball coach and the former head coach of the William & Mary Tribe men's basketball team. [1] [2]
Fischer played college basketball at Ithaca College, where he graduated in the top 10 in career steals and assists while helping guide the Bombers to an NCAA Tournament appearance. [1]
Upon graduation, Fischer entered the coaching ranks, taking an assistant coaching position at Williams College under Dave Paulsen, where the Ephs reached the national championship game of the 2004 NCAA Division III Tournament. [3] In 2005, Fischer headed to the Division I ranks joining the coaching staff at Rider, where he stayed until 2008 before reuniting with Paulsen who had taken the head coaching position at Bucknell. [4] While on staff with the Bison, Fischer was part of two NCAA Tournament squads and four Patriot League regular season championship teams. In 2015, Fischer followed Paulsen to George Mason to serve as assistant coach. [5]
On April 2, 2019, Fischer was named the 31st head men's basketball coach in William & Mary history, replacing Tony Shaver. [2] [6]
Fischer was fired on March 10, 2024, with a five-year record of 56–91. [7]

William J. Brown is an American basketball coach. He is the former head men's basketball coach at Albany, where he served from 2002 to 2021, guiding the Great Danes to five NCAA tournament appearances.

Dave Paulsen is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at Holy Cross. Previously, he was the head men's basketball coach at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Before arriving at George Mason, he was previously the head coach at Bucknell University for seven seasons. Prior to Bucknell, he spent eight years as the head coach at his alma mater, Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and also coached at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York, and Le Moyne College in Syracuse, New York.
Keith Cieplicki is an American former college basketball player and women's college basketball coach. From 1997 to 2003, he coached at Vermont, where he posted a 127–53 (.705) record. He left Vermont to take the head coaching job at Syracuse. In his three seasons there, he posted a 28–55 overall record. After the 2006 season he resigned. He was named one of the 50 Greatest Sports Figures from Vermont by Sports Illustrated.

The 2014–15 Bucknell Bison men's basketball team represented Bucknell University during the 2014–15 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bison, led by seventh year head coach Dave Paulsen, played their home games at Sojka Pavilion and were members of the Patriot League. They finished the season 19–15, 13–5 in Patriot League play to win the Patriot League regular season championship. They advanced to the semifinals of the Patriot League tournament where they lost to Lafayette. As a regular season league champion who failed to win their league tournament, they received an automatic bid to the National Invitation Tournament where they lost in the first round to Temple.

Samantha K. Huge is the former director of athletics for the College of William & Mary. She previously served as an associate athletic director at Texas A&M University from 2014 to 2017, as a deputy athletic director at the University of Delaware from 2009 to 2014, as an associate athletic director at Georgetown University from 2006 to 2009, and as an assistant athletic director at Wake Forest University from 2002 to 2006. Huge attended college at Gordon College, where she played on the school's women's basketball team.
