Daniar Kobonov (born September 8, 1982) is a male Greco-Roman wrestler from Kyrgyzstan. He has competed in two Olympic games, the 2004 Olympic Games and the 2012 Olympic Games.

At the end of his competitive career, Smith had won more World and Olympic gold medals in wrestling than any other American. Smith was widely known for his low single leg takedown, and is considered one of the greatest freestyle wrestlers of all time.
Alireza Dabir is the President of Islamic Republic of Iran Wrestling Federation since July 2019. He is an Iranian champion freestyle wrestler. Dabir won a gold medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, as well as the World Championship in 1998. He was a runner-up in 1999, 2001 and 2002. In the 2004 Athens Olympics, Dabir lost all of his matches by points. He was a member of City Council of Tehran.
Chiharu Icho is a Japanese wrestler who competed in the 48 kg weight class at the 2004 and 2008 Summer Olympics, winning the silver medal at both Games.

Lila Ram Sangwan was an Indian wrestler from Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana, who was the first Indian to win a gold medal in the Commonwealth Games. He won a gold medal in the heavyweight (100 kg) category in the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games. Lila Ram competed in the freestyle wrestling in heavyweight and superheavyweight categories at the national as well as international level.
Egypt competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, from 27 July to 12 August 2012, sending one of its largest delegations ever. Two Egyptian weightlifters were awarded medals retroactively, after higher-ranked competitors were disqualified for doping: Abeer Abdelrahman took silver in the women's 75 kg event, while Tarek Yehia, received bronze in the men's 85 kg event. Among other achievements, Mostafa Mansour was the nation's first competitor in sprint canoeing while fencer Shaimaa El-Gammal became the first Egyptian female to appear in four editions of the Olympics.

Vladimer Khinchegashvili is a Georgian freestyle wrestler who competes in 55–61 kg categories. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics and a gold at the 2016 Olympics. He also won a world title in 2015 and European titles in 2014, 2016 and 2017. In 2015, he was selected as Male Georgian Athlete of the Year by the Georgian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs. Aliaksandr Fiodaravich Kikiniov is an amateur Belarusian Greco-Roman wrestler, who competes in the men's middleweight category. He won the bronze medal at the 2009 World Wrestling Championships in Herning, Denmark, defeating Germany's Konstantin Schneider. He is also a three-time medalist at the European Championships.
Stephen "Steve" Daniar is a Canadian former wrestler. He competed in the men's freestyle 100 kg at the 1976 Summer Olympics.
