Daniel Bellemare (born January 17, 1980) is a Canadian former competitive figure skater. He represented Canada at three World Junior Championships and reached the final segment at all three competitions. His best result, fourth, came at the 1997 Junior Worlds in Seoul, South Korea. [1]

2017 World Figure Skating Championships

The 2017 World Figure Skating Championships were held 29 March – 2 April 2017 in Helsinki, Finland. The host was named in June 2014. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pairs, and ice dancing. The event also determined the number of entries for each country at the 2018 World Championships and the 2018 Winter Olympics.

The 2016 World Junior Figure Skating Championships were held from 14–20 March 2016 in Debrecen, Hungary. Commonly called "World Juniors" and "Junior Worlds", the event determined the World Junior champions in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.

The 2016 Canadian Tire National Skating Championships were held January 18–24, 2016 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Organized by Skate Canada and sponsored by Canadian Tire, the event determined the national champions of Canada. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, women's singles, pair skating, and ice dancing on the senior, junior, and novice levels. Although the official International Skating Union terminology for female skaters in the singles category is ladies, Skate Canada uses women officially. The results of this competition were among the selection criteria for the 2016 World Championships, 2016 Four Continents Championships, and the 2016 World Junior Championships.

2018 World Figure Skating Championships

The 2018 World Figure Skating Championships were held in Milan, Italy from 19–25 March 2018, at the Mediolanum Forum.
