Daniel Jan Johan Davidsson (born 17 March 1983 in Motala, Sweden) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Sweden. [1] [2] [3]
Davidsson came to prominence after reaching the World Under 21 final in 2002 and 2004. [4] In between the two finals he signed for his first British team Poole Pirates for the 2003 Elite League speedway season and 2004 Elite League speedway season. The team completed two league and cup doubles during those years, although Davidsson was only really active for them in 2004.
He spent 2005 at Coventry Bees and Peterborough Panthers respectively, and sealed a third league title with Coventry during the 2005 Elite League speedway season. He returned to Poole in 2006 and 2008. [3] He reached three successive Swedish Individual Speedway Championships from 2008 to 2010. [5]
In 2019, he was the team manager of Piraterna in the Elitserien. [6]
His brother, Jonas Davidsson (born 1984), was also a speedway rider, as was his father Jan Davidsson (born 1956).
Tony Rickardsson is a Swedish former professional motorcycle speedway rider. He competed in the Speedway World Championships from 1989 to 2006. Rickardsson is notable for winning six Speedway World Championship titles in 15 attempts. He most recently rode for Masarna from Avesta in the Swedish Elitserien league, Unia Tarnów in the Polish Ekstraliga and for the Ipswich Witches, Poole Pirates, King's Lynn Stars, Arena-Essex Hammers and Oxford Cheetahs in the British Elite League. In 2011, Rickardsson was named an FIM Legend for his motorcycling achievements.
Jason Philip Crump is a former international motorcycle speedway rider from Australia. He is a three-time Speedway World Champion, a World Cup winner and a former World Under-21 Champion.
Krzysztof Kasprzak is an international motorcycle speedway rider from Poland, who became World Under-21 Champion in 2005 and won the silver medal during the 2014 Speedway Grand Prix. He also won five World team titles.

The 2004 Elite League speedway season was the 70th season of the top division of speedway in the United Kingdom and governed by the Speedway Control Bureau (SCB), in conjunction with the British Speedway Promoters' Association (BSPA).
