The Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN),formerly known as Action Congress (AC),was a Nigerian political party formed via the merger from the coming together of a faction of Alliance for Democracy,the Justice Party,the Advance Congress of Democrats,and several other minor political parties in September 2006. Joe Itsebaga Acha is a Nigerian jurist who served as the Chief Judge of Edo State from 6 October 2021,until 19 May 2023. He took on the role of Acting Chief Judge on 17 May 2021,following the retirement of Justice Esther Edigin. Acha was born on 19 May 1958,in Okpekpe,Edo State,Nigeria. He is the first chief judge from Etsako East and is married to Christiana Acha,with whom he has children and grandchildren.
Omobayo Marvellous Godwins is a Nigerian engineer and politician who has served as the deputy governor of Edo State since 2024. He was appointed deputy governor following the impeachment of Philip Shaibu on 8 April 2024. He is a member of the Peoples Democratic Party,and holds a B.Eng Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Benin.
