Daniel Rovaro is an American Democratic Party politician who, from 2011 to 2019, served as a member of the Connecticut House of Representatives from the 51st district (comprising the towns of Putnam, Thompson, and parts of Killingly). [1] Rovaro, considered a fiscal conservative, often sided against his own party on budget issues. He announced his retirement in January 2018. [2] Rovaro formerly served as mayor of Putnam, from 1991 to 2005. [3]

The 2021 Fort Worth mayoral election was held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, to decide the mayor of Fort Worth, Texas. Incumbent mayor Betsy Price, who had served as the city's mayor since 2011, announced on January 6, 2021, that she would not seek a sixth term. Ten candidates ran in the primary election. Early voting in person began on April 19, 2021. Since no candidate received a majority of the vote on May 1, the top two finishers, Democrat Deborah Peoples and Republican Mattie Parker, advanced to a June 5, 2021, runoff election. Parker won the runoff and was elected mayor.

Mattie Parker is an American attorney, business owner and politician serving as the 45th Mayor of Fort Worth, Texas. She was elected in 2021 after serving as Chief of Staff for the Mayor and the Fort Worth City Council for five years. After coming in second place in the first round of voting in May, Parker faced off against Deborah Peoples, the Tarrant County Democratic Party chair, in the run-off election on June 5, 2021. Parker received 53.5% of the vote in the nominally non-partisan election.

Elected in November 2018, he assumed office in January 2019. Wilburn has also served as chair of the Iowa Democratic Party from January 2021 until 2023.
Rick Hayes is an American politician currently serving as a Connecticut State Representative from the 51st District, which encompasses the towns of Putnam, Thompson, and parts of Killingly. A member of the Republican Party, Hayes first ran for the seat in 2018 in an election where he would win over Democratic candidate Larry Groh Jr. Hayes was re-elected in 2020, once again defeating Groh. Hayes currently serves as a member of the House General Law Committee, the Environment Committee, and the Public Safety and Security Committee. He is also a member of the Putnam Board of Selectman, serving in that position since 2017.
The 2022 Connecticut Secretary of the State election took place on November 8, 2022, to elect the next Secretary of the State of Connecticut. Incumbent Democrat Denise Merrill planned to retire at the end of her elected term, but resigned on June 30 to care for her ailing husband. Governor Lamont appointed former associate attorney general Mark Kohler to the position. Kohler was sworn in on July 11. He was not a candidate for the office in the November election.

All of Maryland's executive officers were up for election as well as all of Maryland's eight seats in the United States House of Representatives, one of its U.S. senators, and the state legislature. Primaries were held on July 19, 2022. Polls were open from 7 AM to 8 PM EST.
