Danny van Trijp (born 24 December 1996) is a Dutch darts player currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation events.
He attended European Q-School in 2019, but never got farther than the last 16, missing out on a Tour Card. He did then qualify as one of the Association Member qualifiers for the 2019 European Darts Open in Leverkusen, Germany. However, he lost 6–3 to Adam Hunt in the first round.
He also qualified for the 2019 Dutch Darts Masters. In the first round he won a 6–5 victory against Keegan Brown, but was defeated 6–2 by Ricky Evans in the second round.
Danny made his Players Championship debut on 3 August 2019. He lost in the first round to David Pallett (6-5). A day later he won 6-3 against Simon Stevenson, then went down in the 2nd round against Steve Beaton (6-5).
In January 2020, Danny made another attempt to obtain a tour card. On the first day he lost in the first round to Hungarian Patrik Kovács. On day two he lost the Last 16 to the Swede Daniel Larsson. On Day 3, he lost the last 64 to New Zealander Cody Harris. On the last day Danny reached the semi-finals where he lost to German Steffen Siepmann.
Danny made his UK Open debut on 6 March 2020. In the first round he got Russia's number 1 Boris Koltsov. This match was won 6-4 with an average of 86. In the second round Danny was defeated 6-0 by the Scottish William Borland.
At the WDF Europe Cup 2022, he lost the final with the Dutch team against England 8:9 and was eliminated in the men's singles semi-final against Teemu Harju with a 1:6 defeat.
Van Trijp made his debut at 2023 PDC World Darts Championship when he secured his spot via PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit. He defeated Steve Beaton in the First round 3-0, then he lost against Jonny Clayton 0-3 in the Second round.
Van Trijp secured his Tour card for seasons 2023 and 2024 via PDC Challenge Tour. On Players Championship 17 in 2023 he made it into his first Quarterfinal on PDC Pro Tour. However, he was unable to qualify for any European Tour events or other major tournaments during the two seasons.

Steve Beaton is an English former professional darts player. He won the BDO World Darts Championship in 1996 and is a former World No. 1.
Krzysztof Ratajski is a Polish professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. His biggest achievement to date was winning the 2017 World Masters. Ratajski also plays on the Professional Darts Corporation's ProTour and has represented Poland at the PDC World Cup of Darts on numerous occasions. He is the most successful darts player to come from Poland. Together with Krzysztof Kciuk, he is the world record holder in pairs match average.
Jan Dekker is a Dutch former professional darts player. He reached the semi-finals of the BDO World Darts Championship twice, in 2011 and 2014.

The 2020 Ladbrokes UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the eighteenth year of the tournament where players compete in a single elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held for the seventh time at the Butlin's Resort in Minehead, England, between 6–8 March 2020, and has the nickname, "the FA Cup of darts" as a random draw is staged after each round following the conclusion of the third round until the final.
