The 2025 UK Open, known as the 2025 Ladbrokes UK Open for sponsorship reasons, is an upcoming professional darts tournament that will be held at Butlin's Minehead, England from 28 February to 2 March 2025. It will be the twenty-third UK Open to be staged by the Professional Darts Corporation.

Dimitri Van den Bergh is the defending champion after defeating Luke Humphries 11–10 in the 2024 final. ^[1]

Prize money

The prize fund remains unchanged at £600,000. ^[2]

Format

The 160 participants will enter the competition incrementally, with 64 players entering in the first round. Match winners will join the 32 players entering in the second and third rounds to leave the last 64 in the fourth round. ^[3]

• No players will be seeded.
• A random draw will be held for each of the following rounds following the conclusion of the third round.
• All matches in the first, second and third rounds will be played over best of 11 legs.
• All matches in the fourth, fifth and sixth rounds and quarter-finals will be played over best of 19 legs.
• All matches in the semi-finals and final will be played over best of 21 legs.
• Eight boards will be used for matches in the first, second, third and fourth rounds.
• Four boards will be used for matches in the fifth round.
• Two boards will be used for matches in the sixth round.
• One board will be used for all the matches in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

Qualifiers

The 128 Tour Card holders will have a staggered entry based on their Order of Merit ranking on 19 February 2025. ^[4] They will be joined by the top eight non-qualified players from each of the 2024 Challenge & Development Tour Orders of Merit and 16 amateur qualifiers. ^[5]

In a change from last year, the amateur qualifiers were held in four 'PDC in the Community' events in Pencoed, Newport, Derbyshire and Plymouth. The remaining 12 qualifiers were decided in amateur qualifiers staged by the PDC in Milton Keynes and Wigan. Entry to these tournaments was open to all players who did not hold a 2025 Tour Card and had not qualified via another method. ^[6]
