The 2025 Bahrain Darts Masters is an upcoming professional darts tournament that will be held at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir, Bahrain, from 16 to 17 January 2025. [1] It is the third staging of the tournament by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) since the 2023 competition and is the first event in the 2025 World Series of Darts. [2] The tournament will feature 16 players (8 PDC representatives and 8 Asian representatives).
Luke Littler is the defending champion, having defeated Michael van Gerwen 8–5 in the 2024 final. [3] [4]
The total prize fund will remain at £60,000. The breakdown of prize money is shown below: [5]

The PDC announced the 16-player line-up on 8 January 2025. [6] [7] Due to family commitments, Michael van Gerwen will not participate in the event. Stephen Bunting and Chris Dobey will make their Bahrain Darts Masters debuts. [8]
The Asian representatives consist of six invited players, alongside two Bahrain qualifiers that were decided in a qualifying tournament which took place in December 2024. Basem Mahmood and Abdulla Saeed both qualified for their second Bahrain Darts Masters, having previously competed in the 2023 and 2024 editions respectively. [9] [10]

Michael van Gerwen is a Dutch professional darts player, who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is currently ranked world number three, having been the world number one from 2014 to 2021. He is also a three-time PDC World Champion, having won the title in 2014, 2017 and 2019. van Gerwen has won 47 premier singles events in all, having won the World Matchplay, UK Open and Grand Slam each three times, he is a six-time World Grand Prix champion, a seven-time Premier League Darts and Players Championship Finals winner, a five-time winner of both the PDC Masters and World Series Finals, a four-time European Champion and the winner of the 2019 Champions League of Darts. He is also a three-time PDC World Cup of Darts champion, partnering Raymond van Barneveld for the Netherlands.
Stephen Bunting is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number five.
Christopher Dobey is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number ten. Nicknamed "Hollywood", Dobey has won 5 ranking PDC titles and was the 2023 Masters champion. He reached the semi-finals at the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship, the Players Championship Finals and World Grand Prix both in 2019, and the 2022 European Championship. He also reached the quarter-finals at the 2016 Grand Slam, the 2023 World Matchplay, and the 2024 World Series Finals.
Robert Cross is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number four, having reached a peak of world number two in 2018 and 2019. He is a former PDC World Champion, having won the 2018 PDC World Darts Championship, defeating Phil Taylor in the final on his debut, having turned professional just 11 months prior to the event.
Ryan Searle is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number nineteen. Nicknamed "Heavy Metal", Searle has won 5 ranking PDC titles and was the runner-up at the 2021 Players Championship Finals.

Damon Heta is an Australian professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number eight. He has won 8 ranking PDC titles, and also won the 2019 Brisbane Darts Masters. Heta reached the semi-finals at the 2024 UK Open, and the quarter-finals at both the Grand Slam and Players Championship Finals in 2020 and 2023, the 2023 World Matchplay, and the 2024 Masters.
Wesley Plaisier is a Dutch professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He won 4 titles on the PDC Challenge Tour and was the fourth player to win a PDC ranking title without being a PDC Tour Card holder. He is also a two-time World Masters champion and was the runner-up at the 2024 Dutch Open. Plaisier reached the quarter-finals at the 2023 WDF Lakeside World Championship.
