Gregory Peter Stephen Alexander, also known by the nickname of "Brandy", is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s, who has since become a radio, television commentator and noted rugby league journalist. Originally a goal-kicking half-back, in his career he played for and captained the Penrith Panthers and the Auckland Warriors clubs and also represented his country and state on several occasions. Alexander's position for the majority of his career was at half-back, however early in his career – particularly in representative sides – he was moved to fullback. It was this ability to play different positions with great success that saw Alexander make both the 1986 and the 1990 Kangaroo Tours.
The Western Suburbs Magpies is an Australian rugby league football club based in the western suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales. Formed in 1908, Wests, as they are commonly referred to, were one of the nine foundation clubs of the first New South Wales Rugby League competition in Australia. The club, as a sole entity, departed the top-flight competition in 1999 after forming a 50–50 joint venture with Balmain Tigers to form the Wests Tigers. The club currently fields sides in the NSW State Cup, Ron Massey Cup (Opens), S.G. Ball Cup and Harold Matthews Cup competitions.
Mark Geyer OAM, is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s. An Australian international and New South Wales State of Origin representative second-rower, he is a rugby league media identity. Geyer's club career was played primarily with Penrith, with whom he won a premiership in 1991, as well as the Balmain Tigers and the Western Reds. He is also the brother of fellow former professional rugby league footballer Matt Geyer.
Terry Lamb OAM,, also known by the nickname of "Baa", is an Australian former rugby league footballer and coach. He played 350 games, with the Wests (1980–1983) and Canterbury (1984–1996). Lamb was known for his support of the ball-carrier - his ability to be in the right place at the right time netted him 164 tries. This earned him the moniker of "The Back-up Man". He also kicked 386 goals and 44 field goals, for 1,442 points in first grade. He played for New South Wales in State of Origin and Australia. Lamb is the only player to appear in every match of a Kangaroo Tour.
Anthony Xuereb is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the Penrith Panthers and Western Suburbs in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership. To date, he is one of only two players in the history of the game with a last name beginning with the letter "X".
Jim Dymock is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer and coach. A Tonga and Australia international and New South Wales State of Origin representative five-eighth or lock, he played club football for Sydney's Western Suburbs Magpies, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Parramatta Eels, finishing his career in the Super League for the London Broncos. He then embarked on a coaching career, becoming head coach of the Tongan national team. He spent the latter part of the 2011 NRL season as head coach of the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, and is the assistant coach of the Gold Coast Titans.
Kevin McGuinness is an Indigenous Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, and 2000s. He played for Salford City Reds in the Super League, the Western Suburbs Magpies, Wests Tigers and Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles in the Australian National Rugby League (NRL) competition. His position of choice is at centre.
Terry Hill is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played as a centre in the 1990s and 2000s. He played in the NRL for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Eastern Suburbs, Western Suburbs Magpies, Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles and the Wests Tigers as well as representative football for New South Wales and Australia. He is also well known for his promotional television work with Lowes Menswear.
Brett Mullins is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, and early 2000s. A New South Wales State of Origin and Australian international representative back, he played his club football for Australian clubs the Canberra Raiders and Sydney Roosters, and for English club, the Leeds Rhinos. He was described as "one of the most exciting attacking weapons in rugby league."
Alan Ridley (1910–1993) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1920s and 1930s. An Australian international and New South Wales interstate representative winger, he played club football for Sydney's Western Suburbs, with whom he won the 1934 NSWRFL Premiership.
Graham Mackay is an Australian former international and state representative rugby league footballer whose club career spanned Ten Australian and English clubs, including Western Suburbs, Penrith, Gold Coast Chargers, Hull FC and the Ipswich Jets in a sixteen-year top grade career. His position of choice was on the wing, though he played centre later in his career.
Jason Paul Williams is a New Zealand former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. A New Zealand international representative winger, he played his club football in Australia for Sydney's Western Suburbs Magpies, Eastern Suburbs Roosters, South Sydney Rabbitohs, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and the Penrith Panthers as well as in England for Salford. Williams played 145 games in the Australian competition from 1987–88 and 1991–98, scoring a total of 63 tries and winning the 1995 ARL Premiership with the Bulldogs. Williams played in 12 test matches for New Zealand between 1991 and 1995, scoring one try. He played in one non-test international on the 1993 Kiwis tour against Wales and two World Cup matches.

Luke Goodwin is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in Australia and England and represented Aotearoa Māori in 2000.
Paul Bell, is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s and 2000s. He played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks from 1991–94, the Western Suburbs Magpies from 1995–96, the Western Reds in 1997 and finally the Melbourne Storm in 1998-99. After his Australian career finished, he went over to England to play with the Leeds Rhinos in 2000.
Darren Nicholls is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a halfback for the Souths Logan Magpies in the Intrust Super Cup.

His sister Tarsha Gale was the first captain of NSW in Women's Rugby League.
Darren Brown is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played for the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, Western Suburbs Magpies and the Penrith Panthers. Brown also played for Trafford Borough in England and for the Salford City Reds in the Super League. He spent most of his career as a lock or second rower, but could also play in the backline.
