Daryell Nowlan (born June 4, 1969 in Lahr, West Germany) is a Canadian curler and curling coach from Moncton, New Brunswick. [1] He is originally from Summerside, Prince Edward Island. [2] He currently coaches the Sylvie Quillian rink. [3]
In juniors, Nowlan represented Prince Edward Island three times at Canadian Junior Curling Championships from 1986–1988. He went 4–7 in 1986 as second for James McCarthy and 3–8 in both in 1987 and in 1988 as third for McCarthy. [4]
Nowlan made his first Tim Hortons Brier appearance in 1994 at the 1994 Labatt Brier in Red Deer, Alberta. He was the alternate for the PEI rink skipped by Mike Gaudet. They finished last with a 2–9 record. Nowlan didn't play in any games. [5] He would then move to New Brunswick and join the James Grattan rink as second. This team won the New Brunswick provincial championship in 1997 and represented NB at the 1997 Labatt Brier. [6] They had a fast start, winning 5 out of their first 6 games eventually qualifying for the playoffs with an 8–3 record. They defeated Ontario's Ed Werenich 6–4 in the 3 vs 4 game before falling to Manitoba's Vic Peters in the semifinal, settling for bronze.
Nowlan has coached teams at the Scotties, Brier, Canadian Juniors, Under 18's and the World Juniors. Notable skips he has coached include Andrea Kelly, Russ Howard, Charley Thomas, James Grattan, Sylvie Quillian and Kim Dolan. [1]
Nowlan is the Vice president at the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency. He has two sons, Josh and Jacob who he coached at the 2019 Canadian U18 Curling Championships. [1]

Andrea Kelly, previously known as Andrea Crawford, is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. She currently plays third on the Krista McCarville rink. She is a ten-time New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion skip, winning six straight titles from 2009–2014.
Erin Carmody is a Canadian curler, originally from Prince Edward Island but residing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, as of 2019. She currently plays second on Team Sylvie Quillian. A native of the city of Summerside, Carmody was a biology student at the University of Prince Edward Island when she broke onto the curling scene by winning three consecutive provincial junior championships, twice with an undefeated record. She entered the national scene in 2010 after forming a rink with longtime teammate Geri-Lynn Ramsay and veteran curlers Kathy O'Rourke and Tricia Affleck that captured the 2010 provincial championships at the senior level. At the 2010 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the squad made it all the way to the final but lost in the last match to three-time tournament champion Jennifer Jones. After the event, Carmody was presented with the Sandra Schmirler Most Valuable Player Award.
The 2011 Tim Hortons Brier, the Canadian men's national curling championship, was held March 5 until March 13, 2011 at the John Labatt Centre in London, Ontario. This event marked the 30th time that the province of Ontario has hosted the Brier since it began in 1927 in Toronto, Ontario and the first time a Bronze Medal Game was added to the playoffs.
Charles A. Sullivan, Jr. is a Canadian curler from Saint John, New Brunswick. He is a former World Junior curling champion, and a five time provincial champion.
Neil Gordon "Harry" Harrison was a Canadian curler from Newmarket, Ontario. He was a six-time provincial champion, and two-time Canadian and World champion. He is considered to be one of the best leads of all time. He is recognized as having revolutionized the position with the use of the corner guard.
