Tan Sri Datuk Seri M. Kayveas is a Malaysian politician. He was also the President of the People's Progressive Party (MyPPP) and formerly a Special Advisor to the former Minister of Transport Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai. He was formerly a Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department. He is married to Blanche Olbery, formerly a Malaysian Ambassador to the Republic of Finland and Papua New Guinea, and has four children: Marsella Kayveas, Yasheena Kayveas, Mikhaerl Kayveas and Mikhryan Kayveas.

Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad bin Sabu, commonly known as Mat Sabu, is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security in the Unity Government administration under Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim since November 2022 and Minister of Defence in the PH administration under former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad from May 2018 to the collapse of the PH administration in February 2020. He has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Raja since May 2018, Kuala Kedah from November 1999 to March 2004, Kubang Kerian from April 1995 to November 1999 and Nilam Puri from October 1990 to April 1995. He is a member of the National Trust Party (AMANAH), a component party of the PH coalition. He has also served as the 1st and founding President of AMANAH since September 2015.

After the defeat of BN to PH in the 2018 general election, he resigned from UMNO in 2018 and joined BERSATU in 2019.

During the 2020–2022 Malaysian political crisis and in February 2021, Choong resigned from PKR and became an independent MP supporting Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin and the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition along with Julau MP Larry Sng Wei Shien.

He is the Acting Division Chief and Division Deputy Chief of BERSATU of Arau, State Information Chief of BERSATU of Perlis and Deputy Information Chief of PN of Arau. He is also presently one of the three BERSATU Perlis EXCO Members along with Izizam Ibrahim and Wan Zikri Afthar Ishak.
