Dave Stephens (born June 30, 1988) is an American singer who is a founding member and actively the lead vocalist and frontman for the metalcore band We Came as Romans. [1]
In the summer 2005, while attending high school, Stephens, along with classmates Sean Zelda, Jonny Nabors, Mark Myatt, and Joshua Moore formed a band called This Emergency. For the first few years, Stephens was the guitarist, keyboardist, and backing vocals. The band performed various shows throughout the Detroit metro area. Sometime after Nabors and Zelda left the band, the band underwent a name change as they officially called themselves We Came as Romans. [2] In 2008, Stephens met Kyle Pavone who came on as the new clean vocalist while Stephens became the unclean vocalist.
In 2008, with both Stephens and Pavone fronting the band, We Came as Romans released its first EP Dreams [3] and released five more studio albums up to the summer of 2018 when co-frontman, Kyle Pavone, died at the age of 28 of an accidental drug overdose. After Pavone's passing, Stephens released a statement saying the band would not replace Pavone nor would they disband, but would continue their tour with Bullet for My Valentine and Bad Omens while honoring his bandmate and talking about his foundation. In 2019, Stephens along with the rest of We Came as Romans began creating new material. Releasing two songs for the first time since Pavone's passing, "Carry the Weight" and "From the First Note". In 2022, the band announced their first record since 2017, Darkbloom , which was the first album with Stephens as the only singer and frontman for the group. [5]

Dance Gavin Dance is an American rock band from Sacramento, California, formed in 2005. It consists of vocalist Jon Mess, lead guitarist Will Swan, clean vocalist and rhythm guitarist Andrew Wells, and drummer Matthew Mingus. The band formerly included lead vocalists Jonny Craig, Kurt Travis, and Tilian Pearson, and the lineup has changed numerous times since their inception. Swan and Mingus are the only band members who have appeared on every studio album.

We Came as Romans is an American metalcore band from Troy, Michigan. Formed in 2005, the band has gone through one name change and multiple line-up changes, and signed to SharpTone Records in 2016 after having been on roster of Equal Vision Records since 2009. They have released six studio albums – To Plant a Seed (2009), Understanding What We've Grown to Be (2011), Tracing Back Roots (2013), We Came as Romans (2015), Cold Like War (2017) and Darkbloom (2022) – and two EPs in 2008 titled Demonstrations and Dreams.
To Plant a Seed is the debut studio album by American metalcore band We Came as Romans. It was released by Equal Vision Records on November 3, 2009 and was produced by Joey Sturgis. Artwork for the album was done by Paul Romano to which coincides to We Came as Romans' positive message as explained by guitarist Joshua Moore that the lyrical themes on To Plant a Seed are based-up spreading this message. A deluxe edition of the album was released on January 18, 2011 which includes one bonus track and a DVD entitled To Plant a DVD.
Kellin Quinn Bostwick is an American singer and musician. He is the lead vocalist and keyboardist of the post-hardcore band Sleeping with Sirens. He is known for his distinctive vocals and for collaborating with other artists, as well as the SEGA Sound Team on the game Sonic Frontiers (2022). Some of his best known collaborations are on the tracks "King for a Day" with Pierce the Veil, and "Love Race" with Machine Gun Kelly.
The Color Morale is an American metalcore band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 2007. The band includes vocalist/keyboardist Garret Rapp, guitarists Devin King and Aaron Saunders, bassist Mike Honson, and drummer Steve Carey. Rapp and Carey are the only two members of the original line-up that remain in the band. The group was signed to Fearless Records before they went into a hiatus in 2018. Fit for a King, also known as FFAK, is an American metalcore band from Dallas, Texas formed in 2007. The band comprises guitarists Bobby Lynge and Daniel Gailey, vocalist Ryan Kirby, bassist Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary, and drummer Trey Celaya. They released two independent EPs entitled Fit for a King in 2008 and Awaken the Vesper in 2009. They also released one independent album, Descendants, in 2011. This is the band's first album without clean vocalist/keyboardist Kyle Pavone, after his death from an accidental drug overdose in August 2018. The band chose not to replace Pavone out of respect for his memory; instead, they used synths written by producer Drew Fulk and recorded by Pavone before his death, and unclean vocalist Dave Stephens, who had occasionally performed clean vocals alongside Pavone, took over on clean vocals full-time.
