David Carson (born 20 September 1995) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Scottish Championship club Livingston. [2]
Born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Carson spent his early career with Ashington. [1] In 2014, Carson signed for Blackburn Rovers [3] He returned to non-league, playing with South Shields, Whitby Town and Morpeth Town. [1]
On 15 May 2019, Carson signed for Scottish Championship side Inverness Caledonian Thistle. [4] [5] [6] [7] He said he was hoping to be successful at the club, [8] and new Inverness manager John Robertson tipped him for success. [9]
On 1 February 2024, Carson signed for Scottish Premiership club Livingston on an eighteen-month contract. [10]
John Grant Robertson is a Scottish professional football coach and former player. His playing career included spells at Newcastle United, Dundee and Livingston, but he is best known for his two spells at Heart of Midlothian totalling about 18 years, where he is the club's all-time leading goalscorer.
