David Chapman (born 22 March 1965) is an Australian sport shooter who has competed at two Olympic Games. [1] He has competed in the 25 metre rapid fire pistol at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, finishing in 20th place. He returned to the Olympic team for the 2012 London Olympics where he competed in the same event, finishing 18th.

His daughter Hayley Chapman also competed at London, in the 25 metre pistol event. [2]

The men's ISSF 25 meter rapid fire pistol event at the 2012 Olympic Games was held on 2 and 3 August 2012 at the Royal Artillery Barracks. There were 18 competitors from 13 nations. The event was won by Leuris Pupo of Cuba. Silver went to Vijay Kumar of India, while Ding Feng of China took bronze. It was the first medal in the event for all three nations. Ralf Schumann missed the final for the first time; he had reached the final in the previous six Games.

Jakkrit Panichpatikum was a Thai sport shooter who competed in the men's 10 metre air pistol, men's 50m pistol, and men's 25m rapid fire pistol.

Vyacheslav Podlesnyy is a Kazakhstani sport shooter who competes in the men's 10 metre air pistol. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he finished 40th in the qualifying round, failing to make the cut for the final.
