Lieutenant-General David Leslie Judd CB (born 1950) is a former Quartermaster-General to the Forces.
David Judd was commissioned into the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in 1970. [2] In 2000, he was appointed Director-General Equipment Support (Land) as well as Quartermaster-General to the Forces. [3] Then in 2003 he became General Officer Commanding 4th Division. [4] His final posting was as Deputy Commander-in-Chief Regional Headquarters Allied Forces North in 2004. [5] He retired in 2007. [6]
He was also Colonel Commandant of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. [7]
Field Marshal Richard Michael Power Carver, Baron Carver, was a senior British Army officer. Lord Carver served as the Chief of the General Staff (CGS), the professional head of the British Army, and then as the Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS), the professional head of the British Armed Forces. Harvey stood for election to parliament as a Conservative Party candidate in 2010 in the Leicester West seat and came second to Liz Kendall. She is a lecturer in business studies and has published several academic papers.
Major-General Sir Francis George Bond was a British Army officer who served with the Royal Engineers in various campaigns in the 19th and early 20th centuries. He was a keen amateur sportsman, who played football for the Royal Engineers in the 1878 FA Cup Final.
John Castle Woollett, was a British Army officer. He joined the Royal Engineers in 1935 and studied for a degree in mechanical sciences at St John's College, Cambridge. Woollett joined the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) in France in September 1939, at the start of the Second World War. After the BEF was evacuated to the United Kingdom in 1940 he volunteered for commando service. Woollett commanded the demolition engineers in Operation Archery, a 1941 raid on Vågsøy in German-occupied Norway. He commanded 16 Field Squadron, an armoured engineer unit, from 1942. With the 79th Armoured Division he took part in the North-West Europe campaign of 1944–45, assisting with river crossings and demolition of German strongholds, and won the Military Cross.
