David Kalina

David Kalina is the co-founder and co-owner of the award-winning game studio Tiger Style. [1] Kalina started Tiger Style with Randy Smith in 2009, and released the award-winning game Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor, and most recently the Independent Games Festival nominated game Waking Mars.

Kalina is a games industry veteran, previously working on projects such as Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Deus Ex: Invisible War, and the Thief series. Kalina currently resides in Melbourne, Australia.

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent is a 2006 action-adventure stealth video game developed by Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft Shanghai and published by Microsoft Game Studios and Ubisoft. The Splinter Cell series, endorsed by American author Tom Clancy, follows Sam Fisher, an agent employed by a black-ops division of the National Security Agency (NSA), dubbed Third Echelon. Key members of the Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas team, such as creative director Maxime Béland worked on the game. Gameloft released a handheld version for Apple's iOS on May 27, 2010. The studio is known for working remotely, and is known for their cooperative pay structure, distributing royalties among the game production teams.

Spider: The Secret of Bryce Manor is a 2009 side-scrolling action-puzzle video game for iOS and Android, developed and published by Tiger Style. The player takes control of a spider who comes to reside in to the deserted Bryce Manor and must spin webs to trap various types of insects, whilst simultaneously ascertaining what happened to the former residents of the manor. The game received critical acclaim and won multiple awards. Originally released in August, a Director's Cut update replaced the original version on the App Store in December. The update added ten levels, twenty-four Game Center achievements, new music, more story elements and an insect. A year after the game's initial release, a HD version was released for the iPad. In 2013, the game was also released for Android. A sequel, Spider: Rite of the Shrouded Moon, was released in August 2015 for iOS, Android, Windows, Mac and Linux.
