David Lutalo (born 8 March 1986), is a Ugandan musician, artist and performer from East Africa, who rose to fame ten years back with his hit Kapapaala in 2008, released under his own Record Label "Da Hares". He started recording music in 2008 and has several solo songs to his name as well as several collaborations with Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, and Goodlyfe Crew, Solid Star. [1]

Lutalo is known by Uganda's music audiences for his distinct, high-toned, sharp voice which has made him a favorite among rural and urban Ugandans. He has been rated in some circles as the unofficial Ugandan musician of the year in 2014. [2] [3] In 2013, Lutalo joined hands with Mowzey Radio and Weasle of Goodlyfe Crew and they produced Hellena song. [4] In 2014, he collaborated with a young musician Maro, Mubbi bubi. [5] [6] David Lutalo release song "Kabisi Ka Ndagala" video. [7] [8] [9] In January 2016, he won the Best Male Artist and the Artist of the Year awards at the HiPipo Music Awards ceremony. [10]

Early life and education background

David Lutalo, was born to Luggya Robinson (father) and Mastula Nassazi (mother) in Luweero district and is well known for his ability to sing fluently in Luganda language, Swahili language, and some bit English Language. He attended quite a number of schools like Kikunyu Primary school, Balitta Lwogi Primary School where he attained his Primary Leaving Examination (PLE), then he joined Kasana Town Academy Luwero for his high school studies, where he attained his Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and after David went to Busisa Grammar for his A-Level education which ended halfway and he left school without completing his A-level. Radio & Weasel was a Ugandan music Duo that performed under their record label Goodlyfe Crew a Ugandan music group with lead performers being singers Moses Radio and [Weasel Manizo]. Moses Radio provided smooth RnB vocals while Weasel's contribution is a fusion of reggae, ragga and dancehall vibes. Because of their prominence, Moses Radio and Weasel formed their own duo known as Radio and Weasel. The Lead singer Moses and Vocalist Radio died on 1 February 2018 from brain injuries after an assault by a bouncer at a club in Entebbe. Radio's attacker threw him down about 3 metres (9.8 ft) onto a concrete pavement which resulted in massive intracranial hemorrhage. Radio and Weasel also formed The Goodlyfe Crew. The crew saw many changes in its set-up but at various times included Chagga, Lenin Briton, and Lawrence. Many of its members had their own solo projects and collaborations.

Moses Nakintije Ssekibogo, also known as Mowzey Radio, sometimes referred to as Moses Radio, was a Ugandan musician. He was one of the main performers of the Ugandan music group Goodlyfe Crew together with Jose Chameleone's brother Weasel Manizo.

Aziz Mukisa, professionally known by his stage name Aziz Azion, is a Ugandan R&B singer-songwriter, guitarist and musician. He was born Aziz Mukisa on 27 July 1986 in Fort Portal, Uganda and raised in Kampala where he attended his early school program before making his move into the music industry at an early age. Popularly known as "the guitar emperor", Aziz has graced the Ugandan and East African music charts with the songs 'Yegwe', 'Nkumila Omukwano', 'Nakupenda', 'Oxygen', 'Beera Nange', 'Nzikiriza', 'Pain Killer', and 'Yo Love', among others. Popular music promoter and veteran disc spinner DJ Erycom while appearing on a TV Show, he said that "Leero Monday" was the very first song composed and sung by Aziz Azion in the year 2007.

Sheebah Karungi, professionally known as Queen Karma and Sheebah, is a Ugandan musician, dancer, actress and feminist activist. She debuted her acting career in Queen of Katwe as Shakira.
