David Rubio (born June 20, 1959) is an American volleyball coach and former player. He is currently the head women's volleyball coach for the University of Arizona Wildcats, a position he has held for 25 years, since 1992. [1] [2] Rubio was previously head coach at the Cal State Bakersfield, where he led the women's volleyball team to their first national championship in 1989. [3] Rubio leads all active coaches in all conferences with 459 victories. He has led the Wildcats to 18 NCAA appearances and compiled a record of 12, 20-win seasons. [4] Rubio was honored as Pac-10 Coach of the Year in 2000, while leading the University of Arizona to its first Pac-10 championship, and he was named the American Volleyball Coaches Association West Region Coach of the Year in 1993. Sean Edward Miller is an American men's college basketball coach. He was most recently the head coach of the Arizona Wildcats. Miller is a three-time gold medalist as a member of USA Basketball: once as a player, once as an assistant coach, and once as head coach. Miller has won five league Coach of the Year Awards: once in the A10, three in the Pac-12, and once as USA Basketball Coach of the Year.

John Andrew Banachowski is an American volleyball coach. He was the head coach of the women's volleyball team at UCLA (1965–2010). He had more wins than any other Division I coach, with 1,106 total victories and an overall record since the 1970 season of 1,060-281 (79.0%), until his record was broken on September 6, 2013 by University of Hawaii head coach Dave Shoji. He did not coach from 1968-1969 because of his graduation from UCLA. Under his coaching, the UCLA team has won six national championships. Banachowski was twice an All-American volleyball player at UCLA under Al Scates, and won USVBA national championships in 1965 & 1967 as a player. While at UCLA he joined Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity.

Jim McLaughlin is an American volleyball coach. He was most recently the head coach of the women's volleyball team at Notre Dame. McLaughlin was selected to be inducted into AVCA Hall of Fame in 2021.

Caitlin Lowe

Caitlin Faith Lowe-Nagy is the head coach of the Arizona Wildcats softball team. Lowe is a former collegiate four-time first team All-American and medal winning Olympian. She played college softball for Arizona and led her team in back-to-back Women's College World Series championships in 2006 and 2007. She won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Lowe played with National Pro Fastpitch's USSSA Pride for six seasons, winning three titles and being named 2012 Player of the Year, before officially retiring in 2015.

William Arthur Kinneberg is a former American baseball coach. He served as head baseball coach of the Utah Utes in 1996 and from 2005 to 2021. Coach Kinneberg lead the Utes to the university's first ever men's Pac-12 championship in the 2016 season, finishing with a 26–29 overall record.

The 2015 Arizona Wildcats football team represented the University of Arizona in the 2015 NCAA Division I FBS football season. It marked the Wildcats's 116th overall season, 38th as a member of the Pac-12 Conference and its 5th within the Pac-12 South Division. The team was led by head coach Rich Rodriguez, in his fourth year, and played its home games at Arizona Stadium in Tucson, AZ for the 87th straight year. They finished the season 7–6, 3–6 in Pac-12 play to finish in fifth place in the South Division. They were invited to the New Mexico Bowl where they defeated New Mexico.

Washington Huskies womens volleyball

The Washington Huskies volleyball team is the intercollegiate women's volleyball team of the University of Washington in Seattle. They compete in the Pac-12 Conference and play their home games at Alaska Airlines Arena at Hec Edmundson Pavilion, which was built in 1927 and renovated in 2000. Prior to 1988, the Washington volleyball program had seen Huskies' victories, but it has now emerged as a perennial power. The Huskies have reached the NCAA Final Four on five occasions with one national title (2005), and won multiple Pac-10/12 championships. The current head coach is Keegan Cook, who was promoted in January 2015.

The 2017–18 Arizona Wildcats men's basketball team represented the University of Arizona during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The team was led by ninth-year head coach Sean Miller, and played their home games at McKale Center in Tucson, Arizona as members in the Pac-12 Conference. They finished the season 27–8, 14–4 in Pac-12 play to win the regular season championship. They defeated Colorado, UCLA, and USC to win the Pac-12 Tournament. As a result, they received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament where, as a No. 4 seed, they were upset in the First Round by No. 13 seed Buffalo.

The 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championship Game was the final game of the 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Tournament, when the Stanford Cardinal defeated the Arizona Wildcats to become the national champions for the 2020–21 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The game was played on April 4, 2021, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Aarion Shawnae McDonald is an American basketball player for the Atlanta Dream of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was drafted third overall by the Dream in the 2021 WNBA draft after playing college basketball at the University of Washington and the University of Arizona.
