Incumbent Republican Senator John Boozman was first elected in 2010, defeating the Democratic incumbent Blanche Lincoln. Boozman was re-elected for a second term in the 2016 with 59.8% of the vote and ran in 2022 for a third term. Primary elections in Arkansas were held on May 24. Boozman won the Republican primary with 58% of the vote, and he faced Democratic challenger Natalie James in the general election. Boozman was ultimately reelected.
