Dawn Fraser is an Australian freestyle champion swimmer and former politician. She is one of only four swimmers to have won the same Olympic individual event three times – in her case the women's 100-metre freestyle.

Dawn Michelle Staley is an American basketball Hall of Fame player and coach who is currently the head coach for the South Carolina Gamecocks. After playing point guard for the University of Virginia under Debbie Ryan, and winning the gold medal at the 1996 Summer Olympics, she went on to play professionally in the American Basketball League and the WNBA. In 2011, fans named Staley one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history. Staley was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2012. She was elected to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.
Sharon Marie Stouder, also known by her married name Sharon Stouder Clark, was an American competition swimmer, three-time Olympic champion, and former world record-holder in four events.

Bangladesh sent a delegation to compete in the Olympic Games for the first time at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, United States from 28 July to 12 August 1984. The Bangladeshi delegation consisted of a single track and field athlete, Saidur Rahman Dawn. In his two events, the 100 metres and 200 metres, he did not qualify to advance beyond the first round.
Oswald Armitage Carver was a British rower who competed in the 1908 Summer Olympics. He died of injuries during the First World War.
Alan Newton is a retired track cyclist from Great Britain. Born in Stockport, Cheshire, Newton began cycling in 1946, with the Manchester Wheelers' Club. He represented his native country at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. There he won the bronze medal in the men's 4,000 metres team pursuit, alongside Donald Burgess, George Newberry, and Ronald Stretton. He also competed at the UCI Track Cycling World Championships where they finished 4th.
Meredith Dawn Orr is a field hockey midfielder from New Zealand, who represented her native country at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. There she finished in sixth place with the Women's National Team. Orr made her international senior debut for the Black Sticks in 2001 against Korea in Wellington.

Muhammad Asad Malik was a Pakistani field hockey player. He won a silver medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics, a gold medal at the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City, and a silver medal at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich.
Kashif Jawad is a former field hockey player who represented Pakistan in two Olympic Games in 2000 and 2004. A stalwart forward for Pakistan during late 90s and early 2000s Jawad was the team's prime center forward during his career. His career ended abruptly after he was dropped from the team in mid of 2005 due poor physical levels and drop in performance after the death of his father the same year which impacted his game, he was not selected for the team afterwards. He continued playing for Port Qasim in Pakistan National Hockey Championship and played professional leagues in India and Malaysia.
Dan Slater is a New Zealand sailor. He is a member of Wakatere Boating Club in North Shore City. At the 2000 Summer Olympics he competed in the mixed skiff with Nathan Handley, finishing in 8th place. At the 2008 Summer Olympics, he competed in the men's finn class finishing 12th. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's Finn class. He was successful in winning the third race which the commentator remarked was "one of the races of his life".
Beverly Dawn Edith Weigel, with her first name commonly misspelled as Beverley and since her marriage known as Beverly Robertson, is a New Zealand athlete. Mainly active as a long jumper, but also as a sprinter, she represented her country at the 1956 Summer Olympics, the 1958 British Empire and Commonwealth Games, and the 1960 Summer Olympics.

Frederick Paul Henry Marples was a Canadian sports executive in ice hockey and athletics. He was president of the Winnipeg Monarchs team which won Winnipeg Amateur Hockey League championships in 1914 and 1915, and the Allan Cup as senior ice hockey champions of Canada. His operation of a reserve team to support the Monarchs led to debates on player eligibility for the Allan Cup and calls for a national governing body of hockey. As the secretary-treasurer of the Winnipeg Amateur Hockey League, he helped establish both the Manitoba Amateur Hockey Association (MAHA) and the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) in 1914; then served as secretary-treasurer of the MAHA from 1914 to until 1934, and as secretary of the CAHA from 1926 to 1945. He sought to grow the game in rural regions of Manitoba, promote minor ice hockey as a source of future senior players, to keep players in junior ice hockey until age 21, and was against the exodus of amateur players to professional teams.
