The Dayton Flight are an American professional basketball team based out of Dayton, Ohio, and a member of The Basketball League (TBL).

History

On August 26, 2019, Evelyn Magley, CEO of The Basketball League (TBL), announced a new franchise called the Dayton Flight with Brandon Harper as general manager. [1] The Flight follow previous minor league basketball teams in Dayton, including the Dayton Wings, Dayton Jets, and Dayton Air Strikers. [2] [3]

The 2022 TBL season is the fifth season of The Basketball League (TBL). The league expanded from 29 teams in the 2021 season to 44. For the 2022 season, the National Basketball League of Canada (NBLC) announced that they had agreed to inter-league series play with several teams from The Basketball League. The games played between the teams from the two leagues are included in their respective regular season standings for each league.

The 2023 TBL season is the sixth season of The Basketball League (TBL). The league expanded from 44 teams in the 2022 season to over 50 in 2023.The National Basketball League of Canada once again will partner with The Basketball League in joint league expansion.

The Montreal Tundra/Toundra de Montréal are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada founded in 2022. They compete in The Basketball League (TBL) and play their home games at the Centre Pierre Charbonneau. Their first game will be March 4, 2023.
