Dealing With Damage are a British four-piece punk/melodic hardcore band from London, England. [1] The band was formed in 2015 [1] by singer-songwriter/guitarist Ed Wenn (formerly of The Stupids) and drummer James Sherry (formerly of Done Lying Down). They have received coverage on sites such as Kerrang!, Louder Than War and Vive Le Rock and played with notable bands including Soulside, [2] Moving Targets, [3] the Messthetics, Ruts DC, [4] Janus Stark, [5] Zounds, Inner Terrestrials, Girls Against Boys and Eight Rounds Rapid. The band’s initial line up was Wenn, Sherry, guitarist Rich Matthews (all ex-K-Line) and bassist Giles Davis. [1] Davis was replaced by Paul Grier [1] (ex-Scum Children) during the recording of first EP Navigating The Middle Ground. [7] The EP was released in 2016 and included a cover of an Iris DeMent song. [8] Second EP Don’t Give Into Fear was produced and mixed by John Hannon (ex-Understand) [1] and released on the Boss Tuneage label in 2017, [9] after which John Ruscoe (ex-Perfect Daze/Sink) replaced Matthews on guitar. [1] The Home Security EP followed in 2020 [10] and included a cover of a 13th Floor Elevators song. [11] [12] [13] [14]

Dealing With Damage’s debut album Ask The Questions was released on Little Rocket Records in 2020 - with a joint vinyl release by Rad Girlfriend Records [15] (Dayton, Ohio, USA) and Carabrecol (Gran Canaria, Spain) - to positive reviews [16] [17] [18] [4] [19] [20] [21] [22] [23] The LP saw contributions from Andy Myers (ex-Jerry Built) who subsequently replaced Ruscoe on guitar. Dealing With Damage released their second LP Use The Daylight in February 2023, to universally positive reviews; the album included a tribute to John Hannon and a collaboration with 'menopause-core' trio Yootha Today. [24] [25] [26] [27] [28] [29] [30] [31]

The band have been likened to bands such as Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Soulside, [32] Mission of Burma, Hüsker Dü, Buzzcocks, [18] Down By Law, [9] Toxic Reasons, Dag Nasty [16] and Government Issue [17]

Heresy were a hardcore punk band from Nottingham, England, formed in 1985 and active until late 1989. They released three albums and recorded three sessions for John Peel's BBC Radio 1 show.

Punks Not Dad are a British comedy punk band who formed in Cardiff, Wales in late 2008. The four band members were all in their mid to late 40s when they formed and their songs are written from a middle-aged father's perspective referencing sheds, flat-pack furniture and Man flu. The music they play is described as "Dad Punk". They are one of the leading bands of the mature musicians "Rock-Til-You-Drop" movement, and were heavily featured in an article on the subject in The Times in mid 2010. Revenge of the Psychotronic Man are an English punk band with hardcore influences based in Manchester and formed in 2004. They are sometimes referred to as Revenge Of..., Revenge, or RPM. The band has had music released in the UK, mainland Europe, and the US, and has toured the UK and Europe extensively. At the start of 2018, the band announced they would be splitting up in December of that year, but would be playing dates for the remainder of the year. Their final gig was at Rebellion in their hometown of Manchester, which sold out four months in advance.

All four members contribute to their two- and three-part harmony vocals, a trademark of the band's sound. In August 2020, the band signed to Silent Cult Records, having previously been signed to Uncle M Records and Engineer Records, and in May 2021 announced their debut full-length album, A Funeral For Youth which was released that September.
