Dean Collis (born 21 October 1985 in Campbelltown, New South Wales, Australia) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who last played for the Camden Rams in the Group 6 Rugby League Competition, primarily as a centre.
Collis played his junior football with the Campbelltown Warriors. While attending Patrician Brothers' College, Fairfield. Collis played for the Australian Schoolboys team in 2003. [1]
Making his début with Wests Tigers in 2003, Collis played 8 games until the end of the 2005 season. As NRL Premiers Wests faced Super League champions Bradford Bulls in the 2006 World Club Challenge. Collis played at centre in the Tigers' 30–10 loss. By 2006, Collis was a regular starter in the centres, playing in every game of the 2006 and 2007 seasons, and winning a spot in the City team. [2] His remaining 2 seasons with Wests Tigers were hampered by injury. [3]
In July, 2009, it was announced that Collis had signed a two-year deal to play with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks from the 2010 NRL season. [4]
In September 2011 Collis signed a deal that saw him join the Super League playing for Wakefield Trinity until 2015.
On 11 June 2015 it was announced that Collis would be leaving Wakefield Trinity with immediate effect as he had a desire to return home due to family reasons. [5]
Brett "Noddy" Kimmorley is an Australian rugby league coach and former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1990s, 2000s, & early 2010’s. A New South Wales interstate and Australian international representative halfback, he last played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs of the NRL. He previously played for five other clubs: Newcastle Knights, Hunter Mariners, Melbourne Storm, Northern Eagles and the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks. Kimmorley also represented Country NSW four times and New South Wales ten times as well as playing 15 times for his country including the 2000 World Cup. He also played two Super League Tests. He retired at the end of the 2010 NRL season.
Mitchell Ronald Edwin Brown is a former Australian professional footballer who played for the Warrington Wolves in the Super League. He previously played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, the Leigh Centurions and the Wests Tigers. Has many a nickname.
Paul Franze is a former professional rugby league and rugby union footballer. He played for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks and the Penrith Panthers in the NRL, and for the Castleford Tigers in the Super League, Gateshead Thunder in the Championship and Pia Donkeys in the Elite One Championship as well as a stint as a rugby union player for the London Irish in the Guinness Premiership.
