Catherine Astrid Salome Freeman is an Aboriginal Australian former sprinter, who specialised in the 400 metres event. Her personal best of 48.63 seconds currently ranks her as the ninth-fastest woman of all time, set while finishing second to Marie-José Pérec's number-four time at the 1996 Olympics. She became the Olympic champion for the women's 400 metres at the 2000 Summer Olympics, at which she lit the Olympic Flame.
The 1904 Summer Olympics were an international multi-sport event held in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, from 29 August to 3 September 1904, as part of an extended sports program lasting from 1 July to 23 November 1904, located at what is now known as Francis Field on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. Dinko "Dean" Lukin, OAM is a retired weightlifter from Australia. Lukin won the gold medal in the Super Heavyweight category at the 1984 Summer Olympics, held in Los Angeles. He carried the Australian flag during the closing ceremony of the 1984 games, and remains Australia's only Olympic gold medalist for weightlifting. He also saw success in the Commonwealth Games, winning gold medals in the super heavyweight division of the 1982 Brisbane games and the 1986 Edinburgh games.
Joshua James Ross is an indigenous Australian track and field sprinter. He was national 100-metre (100m) champion for several years and competed for Australia at the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. Ross is the fourth fastest Australian of all time with a personal best time of 10.08 seconds achieved on 10 March 2008, after Patrick Johnson, Rohan Browning and Matt Shirvington.

Hore turned pro on 27 July 2012 and competed as a professional in the Super Bantamweight and Super Flyweight divisions. He holds the WBF Superfly Title, WBU Australasian Superfly title and is a Queensland Bantamweight Champion. Hore, retired from his professional boxing career in 2016 after starting the charity "Keep Your Hands To Yourself" which raises awareness against drug & alcohol induced violence.
Anthony Martin was an Australian indigenous weightlifter originally from Brisbane and later from Perth. He competed for Australia at the 2000 Sydney Olympics in the 105 kg+ class where he came in 18th place. He was an Australian World Junior Championships representative in 1997, 1998 and 1999. In 1999 he became the Oceania Junior Champion in the super-heavyweight class.
Dean Michael Evans is a former field hockey player from Australia, who was a member of the team that won the silver medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. Dean was also a member of the Australian Men's field hockey team in 1986 when they won gold at the World Cup for the first time.

Barton-Smith is most noted for his work and advocacy with the Australian Federation of Disability Organisations, Deaf Sports Australia and the Deaflympics. Smith also holds world record in Decathlon and also represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games in 1990 and 1994.

She came first in the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the Gold Coast. She is the only Aboriginal race walker in Australia.

Robert Carney is an Indigenous Australian retired boxer. Carney competed at the 1968 Mexico Olympics in the flyweight division.
Norman 'Norm' Stevens is an Indigenous Australian boxer who competed at the 1980 Moscow Olympics in the lightweight division.
