"All You Good Good People" is the debut single of English rock band Embrace, on the Fierce Panda label. Only 1,300 copies were made in 1997, but the airplay received by key radio shows was enough to gain significant recognition. An extended play containing the song was released on 27 October 1997, peaking at number eight on the UK Singles Chart that November. The 1,300 originals, mixed by dub and electronica artist Ott, are now collectors' items.

"A Little Respect" is a song written and recorded by English synth-pop duo Erasure, released in September 1988 by Mute. It was written by Vince Clarke and Andy Bell. The lyrics are a plea to a lover to show compassion and respect. The heavily synthesized instrumentation is accentuated by acoustic guitar and Bell's vocal falsetto in the chorus. It was their tenth single and was taken from their third studio album, The Innocents (1988). Known as one of their signature songs, the single reached number four on the UK Singles Chart and was Erasure's second consecutive top-20 hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, where it made number 14, and reached number two on the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart.

"Thunderbirds / 3AM" is a double A-side single by English pop punk band Busted. It was released on 26 July 2004 as the fourth single from their second studio album, A Present for Everyone (2003). "Thunderbirds" was not originally included on the album, having been written specifically for the 2004 film Thunderbirds, although it later appeared on a re-issue of the album in Europe. "Thunderbirds" was not released on an album in the United Kingdom until the release of the group's live album A Ticket for Everyone: Busted Live in 2005.

The song was first serviced to US radio on 26 July 2004, then was issued physically in the United Kingdom on 4 July 2005 as the fourth and final single from the album. In Canada, "I Do" gave Loeb her second number-one hit, after "Stay". This song was her last top-20 single in both countries.

"Almost Blue" is a song recorded by English group Elvis Costello and the Attractions from their sixth studio album, Imperial Bedroom (1982). Written by Costello and produced by Geoff Emerick, the track shares the name of the group's previous 1981 studio album. It was released on 2 July 1982 along with the rest of Imperial Bedroom, and would later be included on side two of The Best of Elvis Costello and the Attractions (1985). A traditional pop song, "Almost Blue" contains lyrics that compare a former relationship to a present one.

Death Ride 69 were a tribal industrial garage band that formed in Los Angeles led by Linda LeSabre (Beatmistress). The original incarnation was a duo consisting of guitarist Don Diego and vocalist Linda LeSabre. The band also featured contributions from Mark Blasquez, Ethan Port, Wrex Mock, Dave Haas and Buc Bono. They released two full-length albums, Death Ride 69 produced by Scott Arundale in 1988 and Screaming Down the Gravity Well in 1996.

Screaming Down the Gravity Well is the second studio album by Death Ride 69, released in 1996 by Fifth Colvmn Records. Marco Gariboldi of Fabryka called the album "a crescendo of harsh guitars, distortions and hammering drums directed by the high and charismatic voice of Linda" and "a very good album by an underrated and forgotten band." Aiding & Abetting was more critical, saying "the general lack of creative thought in the songwriting is pretty distressing" and claiming the band was "scraping the bottom of the barrel."
