Debaloy Bhattacharya started his career in the Indian film industry as an editor, he made his debut with Shoonya (2006) and later worked as an editor in 033 (2009), which also marked his debut as a writer in a feature film. The editor-turned-writer later wrote screenplay, story, and dialogues for several popular Bengali films including Obhishopto Nighty (2014), Roga Howar Sohoj Upay (2015).

Tarun Majumdar was an Indian film director, documentary filmmaker, author, illustrator and screenwriter who is known for his work in Bengali cinema. He received four National Awards, seven BFJA Awards, five Filmfare Awards and an Anandalok Award. In 1990, the Government of India honoured him with the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award. He is recognized as one of the greatest influential filmmakers of India. His movies were restored and digitized by the National Film Archive of India.
Rajit Kapur is an Indian film and theatre actor and director. He is known for his portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi in the 1996 film, The Making of the Mahatma for which he won the National Film Award for Best Actor. Other notable roles are as the protagonist Unni in the Malayalam film Agnisakshi, and the fictional detective Byomkesh Bakshi in the eponymous television series, directed by Basu Chatterjee and broadcast on Doordarshan. Jisshu Sengupta is an Indian actor, producer, television presenter, who predominantly works in Bengali films, and also in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil films. Sengupta made his debut through a Bengali TV series, Mahaprabhu (1996) where he portrayed the role of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu; the role gained him much recognition. Subsequently, he made his film debut with Priyojon (1999), which became a debacle at the box office. In 2002, he played Rabindranath Tagore in Sukanta Roy's ambitious venture Chelebela alongside Debashree Roy playing Kadambari Devi. following which he appeared in a spate of critically and commercially unsuccessful projects. His subsequent collaborations with Ghosh for films which include Shob Charitro Kalponik and Noukadubi brought him a higher degree of critical and commercial success. Sengupta's collaborations with other directors for films such as Jaatishwar enabled him to become one of the most sought out actors in Bengali cinema.
Arunoday Banerjee, better known as Rahul Banerjee, is an Indian actor works in Bengali language films and television. He made his stage appearance at the age of three with his father's theatre troupe Bijoygarh Atmaprakash play entitled Raj Darshan. Since then, he has acted in almost 450 stage shows, with his father's troupe and with Theatron. He was married to co-actress Priyanka Sarkar. He was catapulted to stardom for his role opposite Priyanka Sarkar in Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, directed by Raj Chakraborty. The film was a massive box-office success. He has subsequently appeared in films including Love Circus, Shono Mon Boli Tomay and Poti Poromesshor. His television debut was in the series Tumi Asbe Bole. He has received a number of awards such as Anandalok Award for the Best Actor for his role in Chirodini Tumi Je Amar.
