Deborah Bodin Cohen is an American writer and rabbi. Among other honors, she won a 2025 Sydney Taylor Book Award.

Cohen was born in 1968, in Columbia, Maryland. She received a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Michigan. In 1997, she was ordained at Hebrew Union College. [1]

Cohen is married and has at least one child. [1]
