The Laois County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) or Laois GAA is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland, and is responsible for Gaelic games in County Laois. The county board is also responsible for the Laois county teams.

Paul Griffin is an Irish Gaelic footballer. He was educated at Oatlands College, Stillorgan, and University College Dublin, where he graduated in Physiotherapy. He plays for club side Kilmacud Crokes and plays left full-back for the Dublin county team, although he started his Dublin career in the half-back line. He has been one of Dublin's most consistent performers since making his Dublin debut in 2004. He has won the Leinster senior football championship with Dublin on two occasions in 2005 and 2006. He was on the Kilmacud Crokes side that won the 2006 Leinster Senior club football championship. He has won the Dublin club football championship with the Crokes on two occasions, 2004 and 2005. Paul Griffin captained Dublin's U-21 football side in 2004. Griffin was nominated for a 2006 all-star award. Griffin was named on the 2006 Dublin Bus/Evening Herald Blue Star football XV at right half-back. He won the 2007 O'Byrne Cup for Dublin against Laois at O'Connor Park in Offaly. The game finished on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13 against Laois. In April 2009 he was named by Dublin football manager Pat Gilroy as captain for the 2009 season. He played hurling for Dublin up to minor level but eventually he committed to football.
John O'Leary is a Dublin-born Gaelic footballer who played for the O'Dwyers club and at senior level for the Dublin county team. He is an area manager for Permanent TSB and in 2007 was a candidate for Fianna Fáil in the constituency of Dublin North. David Henry is a Gaelic footballer who played at senior level for the Dublin county team and plays his club football for Raheny. He was on the Dublin Leinster Senior Football Championship winning side in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. Henry played at right half back on the Dublin senior football team. He came on as a substitute and was later sent off in the O'Byrne Cup final for Dublin against Laois at O'Connor Park in Offaly. The game finished on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13 against Laois. David was on Dublin's 2008 O'Byrne Cup winning team, which defeated Longford in the final. He also played senior hurling with Dublin. David has worked as an analyst for Irish language television station TG4. He also worked as a youth leader at Coláiste Árainn Mhóir in Donegal during his summer holidays during college, assisting in teaching Irish to teenagers.
David O'Callaghan is an Irish hurler who plays at right corner forward on the Dublin county team. He is a former dual player having represented the Dublin county football team between 2003 and 2007. O'Callaghan currently plays his club hurling for his home club St Mark's.

The game finished on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13 against Laois. Colin won a Dublin Intermediate Club Football Championship title and a Leinster Intermediate Club Football Championship title with Fingal Ravens in 2007. In 2008, Prendeville won an All-Ireland Junior Football Championship medal while playing for Dublin.
