Connah's Quay Nomads Football Club is a Welsh professional football club based in Connah's Quay, Flintshire. They play in the Cymru Premier.
Flintshire is a county in the north-east of Wales. Northop is a village, community and electoral ward situated in Flintshire, Wales, approximately 12 miles west of the city of Chester, midway between Mold and Flint, and situated just off junction 33 of the A55 North Wales Expressway. At the 2001 Census, the population of Northop was 2,983, increasing to 3,049 at the 2011 census. The community includes Sychdyn.

With a population of 16,771, it is the largest town in Flintshire. The town is also part of the wider Deeside conurbation and is contiguous with Shotton, Flint and Buckley.
The Flintshire Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge spanning the Dee Estuary in North Wales. The bridge links Flint and Connah's Quay to the shore north of the River Dee at the southern end of the Wirral Peninsula. The bridge cost £55 million to construct. This cost was met by the then Welsh Office and in the future, maintenance costs are expected to be the responsibility of the local authority Flintshire County Council.

FC Nomads of Connah's Quay, also known as FC Nomads, is an association football club in Connah's Quay Flintshire, Wales. It was founded in 2009 when, during the 2008–09 season, stories started to circulate that Connah's Quay may lose its football team for the first time since 1890, and that they might merge with local rivals Flint. A group of long time supporters and local football experts set out to preserve football in Connah's Quay. In July 2019 the club announced that they had withdrawn from the league but had not folded.
