Denis Lalor is a former hurling and Gaelic football player from County Laois in Ireland.
Lalor played on the Laois senior football team throughout the 1990s, primarily as a defender but also in attack. In 1991, he played on the Laois team beaten by Meath in the final of the Leinster Senior Football Championship. He also won two Railway Cup football medals with Leinster in 1996 and 1997.
Lalor was the captain of his club The Heath in 1993 when they won the Laois Senior Football Championship title. The previous year he had received a Laois Senior Hurling Championship medal with his hurling club, Clonad.
After his senior inter-county career ended, Lalor continued to play at club level, while also serving as a selector with the Laois senior football team under Tom Cribbin. He also had spells as club manager with Gracefield in Offaly and his home club, The Heath. In 2008 he was appointed as manager of the Laois minor football team for the 2009 season.
Patrick Joseph Lalor was an Irish Fianna Fáil politician and former hurling player for Laois. He was a Teachta Dála (TD) for Laois–Offaly between 1961 and 1981, and a government minister on two separate occasions during the 19th Dáil. He later represented Leinster in the European Parliament from 1979 to 1994.

Paul Griffin is an Irish Gaelic footballer. He was educated at Oatlands College, Stillorgan, and University College Dublin, where he graduated in Physiotherapy. He plays for club side Kilmacud Crokes and plays left full-back for the Dublin county team, although he started his Dublin career in the half-back line. He has been one of Dublin's most consistent performers since making his Dublin debut in 2004. He has won the Leinster senior football championship with Dublin on two occasions in 2005 and 2006. He was on the Kilmacud Crokes side that won the 2006 Leinster Senior club football championship. He has won the Dublin club football championship with the Crokes on two occasions, 2004 and 2005. Paul Griffin captained Dublin's U-21 football side in 2004. Griffin was nominated for a 2006 all-star award. Griffin was named on the 2006 Dublin Bus/Evening Herald Blue Star football XV at right half-back. He won the 2007 O'Byrne Cup for Dublin against Laois at O'Connor Park in Offaly. The game finished on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-13 against Laois. In April 2009 he was named by Dublin football manager Pat Gilroy as captain for the 2009 season. He played hurling for Dublin up to minor level but eventually he committed to football.
The Heath GAA is a Gaelic football, ladies' Gaelic football and rounders club in County Laois, Ireland, located to the northeast of Portlaoise.
Clonad GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association hurling club in County Laois, Ireland which fields teams from Under-10 right up to adult level. While Clonad GAA club has successfully fielded underage and adult Gaelic football teams in the past, football is not played in the club at present. These days, club members interested in football usually play with the neighbouring football clubs at The Heath and Ballyroan.
