The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
Edwin Corley Moses is an American former hurdler who won gold medals in the 400 m hurdles at the 1976 and 1984 Olympics. Between 1977 and 1987, Moses won 107 consecutive finals and set the world record in the event four times. In addition to his running achievements, Moses was also an innovative reformer in the areas of Olympic eligibility and drug testing. In 2000, he was elected the first Chairman of the Laureus World Sports Academy, an international service organization of world-class athletes.
Lee Edward Evans was an American sprinter. He won two gold medals in the 1968 Summer Olympics, setting world records in the 400 meters and the 4 × 400 meters relay, both of which stood for 20 and 24 years respectively. Evans co-founded the Olympic Project for Human Rights and was part of the athlete's boycott and the Black Power movement.
Clyde Luther Scott was an American athlete who played professional football in the National Football League (NFL) and earned an Olympic medal in the 110 meter hurdles. He was born in Dixie, Louisiana.
Tuvshinbayar Naidan is a Mongolian former professional judoka. He is the 2008 Olympic Champion, 2012 Olympic silver medalist, 2014 Asian games champion, 2017 World Championships bronze medalist, 2016 Asian Championships gold medalist, 2007 silver medalist and two-time bronze medalist in –100 kg division. Naidan is serving a sixteen-year jail term for a 2021 fatal assault on a fellow judoka and childhood friend Erdenebileg Enkhbat.
Trevor Ian Coker was a New Zealand rower who won two Olympic medals. He was born in Whanganui, New Zealand. Coker won the European Championship in 1971. Known then as the "New Zealand Eight", Coker and his team received Halberg Awards in 1971 and 1972 as New Zealand Sportsman of the Year.
Carsten Mogensen is a former badminton player from Denmark. He was the gold medalist at the 2015 European Games, two time European champions winning in 2012 and 2017, and the silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Mogensen was a former world number 1 in the BWF World ranking together with Mathias Boe.

Derek Chisora is a Zimbabwean-British professional boxer. He has challenged twice for the WBC heavyweight title in 2012 and 2022. At regional level, he has held multiple heavyweight championships, including the British and Commonwealth titles from 2010 to 2011, and the European title from 2013 to 2014. As an amateur, he won the ABA super-heavyweight title in 2006.
Mihai Apostol is a Canadian sprint canoer who competed from the early-1990s to the early 2000s. Apostol was born in Romania, but defected to Canada with two teammates while attending the 1989 world junior paddling championship in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. He was 18 years old at the time. After defecting, Apostol took up residence in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and adapted well to life in Canada by making the Canadian National Kayak team in 1991 and moving from Halifax to Vancouver to join the rest of the team. In Vancouver, supporting himself and without the financial help that most of his teammates received from their families, Mihai worked part-time while attending college and trained full-time with the National Team.

Keiko Tanaka-Ikeda was the first Japanese female gymnast to win a world title, which she accomplished on the balance beam in 1954. For 63 years, she remained the only Japanese female gymnast who won a world gold medal - until Mai Murakami won the floor exercise at the 2017 World Championships. Tanaka-Ikeda won seven more medals at the world championships from 1958 to 1966. She also competed at the 1956, 1960, and 1964 Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and won a team bronze medal in 1964; her best individual achievement was a fourth place on the floor in 1956.
Raymond Maurice Ruddy was an American competition swimmer who represented the United States as a 16-year-old at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He competed in the men's 400-meter freestyle, and placed sixth in event final with a time of 5:25.0. He also finished fourth overall in the men's 1,500-meter freestyle in a time of 21:05.0.

Niels Henry Secher is a Danish medical research scientist and retired rower. Together with Jørgen Engelbrecht, he won a world title at the 1970 World Rowing Championships and finished fourth at the 1972 Summer Olympics in the double sculls event. In the single sculls, he placed eights at the 1968 Summer Olympics.
Iván Dereck Rodríguez, nicknamed D-Rod, is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Charros de Jalisco of the Mexican League. The Minnesota Twins selected Rodríguez in the sixth round of the 2011 MLB draft as an outfielder. He was converted to a pitcher in 2014 and made his MLB debut with the San Francisco Giants in 2018. He has also played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Twins and Atlanta Braves. He is the son of Hall of Famer Iván Rodríguez, and is affectionately known to fans as Son of Pudge. He plays for the Puerto Rico national baseball team.
