Derek Bryan Philip Rickard (born 1 October 1947) is an English former professional footballer.
He played as a forward for Football League clubs Plymouth Argyle and Bournemouth.
Rickard joined hometown club Plymouth Argyle in December 1969 as a 22-year-old, making his debut against Halifax Town. He made an immediate impact and was voted as the club's player of the year in 1970, having been there just under six months. [1] He made 121 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring 42 goals. His best season came in 1971–72 when he scored 14 goals in just 19 league appearances. He joined Bournemouth in 1974 and spent two years with the Cherries, making 32 league appearances. [2] After playing for Bournemouth he played for Falmouth Town and Saltash United [3]

Robert Jack was a Scottish football player and manager. Born in Alloa, Jack played in the Football League for Bolton Wanderers, Preston North End and Glossop, and the Southern League for Plymouth Argyle and Southend United. He was an outside forward. Jack is Argyle's most successful and longest-serving manager. During his 29 years in charge, the club won two league championships and established itself in the Second Division of the Football League. Jack also managed Southend for four years. His son, David, scored the first goal at Wembley Stadium.
John Frederick Rowley was an English footballer who played as a forward from the 1930s to the 1950s, mainly remembered for a 17-year spell with Manchester United. He was nicknamed "The Gunner" because of his prolific goalscoring and explosive shooting, scoring 211 goals in 424 appearances for United. His younger brother, Arthur, still holds the record for the highest number of career goals scored in the Football League with 434.
Kevin Hodges is an English retired football player and manager who played as a midfielder, and now works as assistant manager at Dorchester Town. He spent the majority of his playing career with Plymouth Argyle of the Football League, where he is the club's all-time appearance record holder. He also played for Torquay United and went on to become their manager before returning to Plymouth Argyle as manager. After a period in coaching roles elsewhere, he returned to work for Plymouth Argyle where he is currently responsible for managing the youth team.
