Derrin James Bassage (born 4 December 1978) is a former South African first-class cricketer who made 55 appearances for the Western Province and Cape Cobras cricket teams. He made his debut in professional cricket in 2003 and played four seasons of South African domestic cricket,primarily appearing in first-class cricket,but also making a number of appearances in the one-day form of the game. [1] He was born to Carol Ann Bassage (née Cooke) and Jack Bassage.

Frank Hearne was an English born cricketer. One of the few men to play Test cricket for more than one country,he played for both England and South Africa. He was a member of the Hearne family of cricketers who played first-class cricket between 1879 and 1904 for Kent County Cricket Club and Western Province.
Sanjay Vijay Manjrekar is an Indian cricket commentator and former cricketer. He played international cricket for India from 1987 until 1996 as a right-handed middle order batsman. He was a part of the Indian squads which won the 1990-91 Asia Cup and 1995 Asia Cup.
Arthur James Ledger Hill was an English cricketer and played Test cricket for England in 1896. In first-class cricket,he began his career playing for Cambridge University while studying at Jesus College,Cambridge. He would play the majority of his first-class cricket for Hampshire,for whom he made 161 appearances between 1895 and 1921. Early in his career,Hill was a "useful fast bowler" and would take 305 first-class wickets during his career,the majority of which came prior to 1900. As a batsman,he scored over 10,000 runs in first-class cricket,recording nineteen centuries. He was notable for scoring the first-ever first-class century in India,which he made touring with Lord Hawke's XI in January 1893. His sporting endeavours also extended to rugby union and field hockey,with him representing Hampshire in both.
Adam James Harrison is a Welsh cricketer. Harrison is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium pace. He was born at Newport,Monmouthshire. His father,Stuart,and his brother,David,are also cricketers. Harrison was educated at St Alban's RC High School,Torfaen. He now plays for Abergavenny Cricket Club in South Wales in the South East Wales Cricket League.
Hylton Deon Ackerman,also known as HD Ackerman,is a South African cricket commentator,coach,and former cricketer. He commentates for Supersport. He is currently also the head coach of the First XI and director at Guildford Grammar School in Perth,Western Australia.

Christopher Heseltine was an English Test cricketer,cricket administrator,and British Army officer. Heseltine made his debut in first-class cricket for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in 1892,a club he would go on to have a long association with in both a playing and administrative capacity. He played his county cricket for Hampshire County Cricket Club between 1895 and 1914,developing late as a successful fast bowler in first-class cricket. A close acquaintance of Lord Hawke,he accompanied him on three tours abroad,including to South Africa in 1895–96,making two Test match appearances for England against South Africa,in which he took a five wicket haul on debut. During his first-class career he played in 79 matches and took 170 wickets. He was later a member of the MCC committee and had two spells as president of Hampshire.
Headley James Keith was a South African Test cricketer. He played eight Test matches for South Africa in the 1950s.
Mohammad Younis Ahmed is a Pakistani former cricketer who played in four Test matches and two One Day Internationals between 1969 and 1987.
Thomas Ormsby Jameson was an Irish first-class cricketer and a soldier British Army. As a cricketer,he made 124 appearances in first-class cricket as an all-rounder. He was mostly associated with the British Army cricket team,Hampshire,and the Marylebone Cricket Club,though he also represented Ireland twice. In first-class cricket,he scored nearly 4,700 runs and took over 250 wickets. In the British Army,he was an officer in the Rifle Brigade,with whom he served in the first part of the First World War,before serving with the West African Frontier Force. A major shareholder in Jameson Irish Whiskey,he was dsecended from its founder John Jameson.
Shadley van Schalkwyk is a South African-born cricketer who plays for MLC franchise Los Angeles Knight Riders,and the United States national cricket team. He is a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler and has played cricket for Seattle Thunderbolts and Free State. Born in Cape Town,he represents the United States at international levels.
Geoffrey Leyden Keith was an English cricketer and cricket coach. As a player,he played first-class cricket for Somerset,Hampshire and in South Africa with Western Province. Beginning his career with Somerset in 1959,Keith moved to Hampshire in 1962 where he made sixty appearances in first-class cricket,and played in Hampshire's inaugural List A one-day match in the 1963 Gillette Cup. He moved to South Africa in 1967,where he took up coaching. He returned to Hampshire in 1971 to become their coach,a role he maintained until his death from leukemia in December 1975.

Willem Marévan der Merwe is a South African orthopaedic surgeon and former cricketer. van der Merwe was a professional cricketer in South Africa from 1978 to 1987,playing predominantly for Orange Free State and Western Province. He later played first-class cricket in England for Oxford University and became a surgeon. He is the current president of the International Society of Arthroscopy,Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS).
