The Des Arc School District is a school district headquartered in Des Arc, Arkansas, United States. The district provides early childhood, elementary and secondary education from pre-kindergarten through to grade 12 in that serves the northern portion of Prairie County. [2] The district encompasses 265.68 square miles (688.1 km2) of land,[ citation needed ] including all of Des Arc. [2] A small portion of the district extends into Lonoke County. [3]

Senior staff

Des Arc is a member of the Arkansas Activities Association's 6-2A conference. Des Arc participates in Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track, Cross Country and Wrestling. Des Arc is also home to the Des Arc High School Eagle Marching Band. Des Arc High School also offers many clubs such as FFA, FBLA, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Annual Staff, Eagle Press, FTA, FEA, FCCLA, Student Council, FCA, and more.

Des Arc was the state runner-up in Football in 1975, 2008 and 2013. Des Arc was state champs in 1976. The Des Arc Cross Country Team were state champs in 2007, Sr. Girl Track were state champs of 2008, and Sr. Boy were state Track champs 2009.

Des Arc High School rivals are Hazen High School in Hazen, and Carlisle High School in Carlisle.

Des Arc High School, which opened in 1872, is a comprehensive public high school located in Des Arc, Arkansas, United States 72040 and is an all-inclusive public school. The school provides education to over 170 kids in grades 7th through 12th that residentially live in Prairie County and Lonoke County communities encompassing 265.68 square miles (688.1 km2) of land including all or portions of Des Arc, Briscoe, Carlisle, Ward, Griffithville, and Lonoke. It is one of two public high schools in Prairie County and the only high school administered by the Des Arc School District.. If a student does not reside in Des Arc or Prairie County but the parents still wish to send their kid to Des Arc High School; there is a School Choice for Non-Resident Students application that the parents can fill out. The application is available on the Des Arc High School website. Two applications must be filled out, one for Des Arc High School and one for the high school that the student is transferring from. Des Arc High School is one of two of the high schools in Prairie County.

Rogers Public Schools is a public school district based in Rogers, Arkansas, United States. As of the 2012-2013 school year, the district encompasses 232.52 square miles (602.2 km2) of land and serves early childhood, elementary and secondary education to numerous Benton County communities.
