She is an alumna of Convent of Jesus and Mary school in Delhi and United World College of the Atlantic in Wales UK. [2] She has a BFA degree in Film and Television Production from Tisch School of the Arts, New York University class of 2002. [3]
In the film industry, her first job was that of a post-production intern for Monsoon Wedding (2001) [1]

Devika Rani Chaudhuri, usually known as Devika Rani, was an Indian actress who was active in Hindi films during the 1930s and 1940s. She was the first recipient of the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, and was also awarded the Padma Shri. The Legend of Bhagat Singh is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language biographical period film directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
