Hindu mythology is the body of myths attributed to, and espoused by, the adherents of the Hindu religion, found in Sanskrit texts such as the Vedic literature, epics like Mahabharata and Ramayana, the Puranas, and mythological stories specific to a particular ethnolinguistic group like the Tamil Periya Puranam and Divya Prabandham, and the Mangal Kavya of Bengal. Hindu myths are also found in widely translated popular texts such as the fables of the Panchatantra and the Hitopadesha, as well as in Southeast Asian texts.

Mohini is the Hindu goddess of enchantment. She is the only female avatar of the Hindu god Vishnu. She is portrayed as a femme fatale, an enchantress, who maddens lovers and demons, sometimes leading them to their doom. Mohini is introduced into Hinduism in the narrative epic of the Mahabharata. Here, she appears as a form of Vishnu following the Churning of the Ocean, a mesmerising beauty who distributes the amrita to the weakened devas (gods) and depriving it to the dominant asuras (demons), allowing the former to defeat the latter with their newfound immortality.
Vishvakarma or Vishvakarman is a craftsman deity and the divine architect of the devas in contemporary Hinduism. In the early texts, the craftsman deity was known as Tvastar and the word "Vishvakarma" was originally used as an epithet for any powerful deity. However, in many later traditions, Vishvakarma became the name of the craftsman god.

Myth is a genre of folklore or theology consisting primarily of narratives that play a fundamental role in a society, such as foundational tales or origin myths. For folklorists, historians, philosophers or theologians this is very different from the use of "myth" which simply meaning something that is not true. Instead, the truth value of a myth is not a defining criterion.

Rasika Dugal is an Indian actress. She is known for her roles in several Indian movies and television shows. She made her screen debut with a small role, in the film Anwar (2007) and went on to star in many critically acclaimed films namely No Smoking (2007), Aurangzeb (2013), Qissa (2015), Train Station (2015), Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2017) and Hamid (2018). In 2018, she was seen in the biographical movie Manto based on the life of writer Saadat Hassan Manto, where she essayed the role of Safia, Manto's wife, for which she garnered her first Screen Award nomination in the category of Best Supporting Actress. She appeared in movies like Lootcase and Darbaan, her performances in both of which were praised.

Out of Love is an Indian series based on Doctor Foster by Mike Bartlett adapted by Hotstar for its label Hotstar Specials. It is directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and Aijaz Khan starring Rasika Dugal and Purab Kohli in lead roles. It premiered on Hotstar from 22 November 2019. The series was renewed for a season 2 of which the first two of five episodes aired on 30 April 2021 with the final episode being aired on 21 May 2021.

Fireflies: Parth Aur Jugnu is an Indian Hindi-language fantasy drama series starring Meet Mukhi, Aekam Binjwe, Madhoo, Priyanshu Chatterjee and Luke Kenny in primary roles. The show also features actors such as Zoya Afroz and Varun Kapoor in reoccurring parts. The show has been written by Alok Sharma, and directed by Hemant Gaba. The series in scheduled to premiere on ZEE5 on 5 May 2023.
Hansa and Dimbhaka were two warriors mentioned in the Hindu epic Mahabharata. They both served the king Jarasandha and assisted him during his during his attempts to retake Mathura. During the Sabha Parva, a king also named Hansa was slain by Balarama after an eighteen-day battle. Upon hearing the news of Hansa's death, Dimbhaka thought that his Hansa had been killed. He threw himself into the river Yamuna and committed suicide. Then the real Hansa heard of Dimbhaka's suicide and killed himself in the same manner.
